As a child, I enjoyed Shrek: Forever After the most. When I re-watched the four Shrek films as a young adult, I enjoyed Shrek and Shrek 2 the most. I can honestly say that I think the four films as a whole chronicle Shrek's life journey very well: falling in love and getting married (Shrek), meeting the in-laws (Shrek 2), coping with the prospect of fatherhood (Shrek the Third) and dealing with domestic life (Shrek: Forever After).
I just wanna say Shrek 2 is my favourite shrek movie heck even my favourite dreamworks movie but it is not my favourite movie of all time it's Monsters Inc just saying
