There is no podcast better than when these two are together....chemistry from the gods....I’ve seen every Uncle Joey/Nick Podcast about 10 times a piece
@@o2xb Did ya count the times he said "White people shit", and just different things about whites? Who cares, its comedy not racism. Just sayin its about the instant, in the moment involuntary laugh, that's what comedy is about and it should be separate.
Agree with both of you gentlemen, the 70's was an halcyon era for cinema. It was a great time to have spent your formative years during this time with not only the movies we saw, but with music we grew up with. History will look back during these times in the same way historians look at the golden era of Hollywood. Thanks for allowing us to be a fly-on-the-wall during great conversations. The type of conversations I would enjoy myself.
i remember as a kid you would wait a year for it to come out of the theater on dvd or vhs.... Irishman is already on netflix and i didnt even get a chance to go the movie theater.
Listening to Nick Turturro talk movies reveals what a great artist he is in his own right. Must have been something in the water where that family was growing up..
Joey, I appreciate you sticking up for "The Irishman". In acting, It's all about putting in "The Work", and DeNiro, Pesci, and Pacino delivered the goods! The Steve Zallian script should not go unnoticed. That script added several great lines to Film History Dialogues, most notably and memorably: "It is what it is"---GREAT SCENE!
"We are living in an age of mediocrity" Joey on movies. This is so true. Movies have went to total garbage. Even in 90s incredible movies one after another
we are stuck in some artificial reality loop, where things regurgitate and repeat and there is nothing new. I know it sounds crazy but it's just what it is.

We just watched this movie and it’s amazing! I was so stoked to here them talking about the Irishman. Amazing movie! Going out this week to get the week and hopefully get some more of those details Lee was talking bout

@@DEADARMmaga Sadly not many stories. I like old boxing so that's how I remembered his name and from the movie. There used to be a website with all of his wins/losses it may still be online.
Nick has a good point about watching movies or sports with friends. If I were to watch a baseball game with him, he would be able to show me how to enjoy it and what to get excited about. I typically am not a baseball fan. There are certain people that make going to certain sporting events a whole different event, likewise with movies. With movies though, I prefer to watch at home with friends so you can make quality healthy food I like and can talk a little trash without worrying about pissing people off in the theater.
@5:41 this nigga Joey gone open up with a heart felt talk about how he liked this woman back in the day and look at Nick's reaction when she said she'd give 'em a chance LOL! That broke the mood all up!
Steven Van Zandt as Jerry Vale? Sweet! Lee brought up a good point when he said he wished Hoffa should have had more of a background from where he started out. Of course all us who lived through that know, but for the younger generation, I see his point. Then Nick brought up the Sylvester Stallone movie F.I.S.T. which is fantastic, is loosely based on Hoffa. And in my opinion is way better and realistic than the Nicholson flick. It's a good introduction, film wise, for the younger generation to grasp a real idea of Hoffa's roots. Great podcast, great movie The Irishman. Thanks Joey, Lee and Nick. Nice work!🤘
Joey- "so Ice Cube...
Nick- "Ice T."
Joey- 'and then Ice Cube..."
Nick- "Ice T."
Joey- "Ice Cube."
Nick= "Ice T."
me- dying!!!!
Joey "Ice Cube" Diaz!!
The fact he doesn’t give a fuck & doesn’t mean any harm is great 😂😂😂
Hilarious, Joey is funny without even trying love it
I love how after being ignored 3 times, Nick just says Fuck it, not even worth trying!!
We have about hours worth of content with Joey messing up names 😂
Love when Nick comes on the podcast. Quality show! This could have been 3 hours and never get boring

Lol so true
Old st Nick
Lol
Straight outta Pulp Fiction...
Bring Tuturro and Rappaport back on for 4 hours Joey. That first podcast was one of the Greatest of all time!!!!
Rappaport is a momo who is only liked by anyone in the industry because his stepfather is one of the big wigs of the improv comedy clubs.
"She showed up with three little kids from the jungle" LOL!
racist as fuck

This was for Netflix. Theater was just to qualify for awards.
Some places are still showing it. Well, at least in NYC.

Nothing like watching this while going deep preparing to watch the Irishman. No spoilers, just good insight.
Nick got his buzz lightyear jacket on
Imagine being Lee in the middle of this. JUST TREMENDOUS!!!!!!!!
Just saw Nick Turturro on the mid season finale of SVU, he left us on a cliffhanger until damn January.
Luis Guzman would be an awesome guest to have on the church.. Cuban Link as well...
The amount of times "tremendous" was said on this episode was tremendous! Love ya, Joey!
Martin Scorsese is the man and The Irishman is a excellent movie... Love you Joey Diaz.. Yours show and the Joe Rogan Experience are the best..

he also got the tremendous vocabulary... Just like Joey, I have seen him in many movies before but can't remember which (looks very familiar).
Nick Turturro is one of those Sicilians with significant North African ancestry.
