Russian fast food? It seems reasonable so far, from what you have shown us.

I wish we had this in the US. I saw where there were a couple of Teremok restaurants in New York but the local inspectors were hostile towards them. Unfortunate. Russian and American people get along just fine when we meet one on one. Our governments are the problem.

Interesting, thank you! Do not worry about your language skills, the more you practice the better you will get. My friend Elena, from Moscow, has been working with me for 5 years and she speaks almost fluent English now, when she began she struggled. She also inspired me to start learning Russian language this year and videos like yours help me to learn and understand Russian culture which helps me to learn to speak Russian faster. Большое спасибо!

Soda and Kvass is said to be "carbonated," because they have carbon dioxide in them.
Teremok is serving what we would call crepes, which are very thin pancakes. Filling them with sweet things is common. It is also common to fill them with chicken, with ham and swiss cheese, or other meats.

Please do not be ashamed of forgetting words- your mastery of English is incredible! As someone who speaks just enough Spanish to get by in a pinch (and that is a language that uses the same Latin alphabet!) I can't imagine the complexity and difficulty of not only learning a new spoken language but also an entire new alphabet so that I am unable to use visual references as a linguistic crutch lol! You rock!

Thank you for sharing this with us. I'm also Russian but have lived in the US since I'm a child. I speak both languages fluently and can say that your English is very good. I still love and eat Russian food. McDonald's not so much lol.

I have only been to St.Petersburg once and it was a beautiful city and really friendly. I wasn't exactly hidden, I had a UK tee shirt, a big camera and a Russian fur hat in the middle of June 🇬🇧😂. I was the most obvious tourist possible. What a history it has, definitely worth a visit.

Most women in N America would not video themselves eating...so just on that note you are quite unique 🤠keep those vlogs coming, very enjoyable👍

You did very well trying to speak the English language. So interesting to see the types of food you featured here on your video. Borscht is the only known food I know of, but I’ve not eaten it. Good job!🤗🇦🇺🌏

Kseniya (hope that is the correct spelling) I love watching your videos. Your meal looked real good. Where I live they have Mexican and Italian food places. I don't believe I've seen Russian and will have to look that up. St. Petersburg looks to be a real nice place. I truly do enjoy your videos. Thank you so much.

The pancake with mashed potatoes and chicken both looks, and sounds delicious! Actually, all your food was. :)

Looks like some tasty food . Out of what u had I have only had Borscht twice. I made it my self first time was better than 2nd time. Although I did realize it tasted better the next day . I think I would like those Stuffed pancakes. I would enjoy if u did any recipe and cooking vids. When visiting I definitely would need to learn some Russian. I had no idea what any of the Menu was. Thanks for sharing
