The best thing to come out of the pandemic was bringing Evie onto the show.
and we need more Evie in these new trying times.

Remember Evie and someone on Stephen’s staff saved his life by not listening to his insistence that he was going to be fine and instead getting him to the hospital in time. Thank you, Evie!!

What happened?
When was that…I’d love to hear that story!!
It was his driver Pablo. Pablo knew something was wrong with Stephen when he was driving him home, but Stephen refused to go to the hospital, so Pablo called Evie, and Evie told him to drive Stephen to the hospital and she will meet them there.
And turns out Colbert’s appendix had already burst so he needed emergency surgery.

Any appearance by Evie is an utter delight. Stephen and Evie are such a wonderful couple and so obviously deeply in love. Adored this segment. ❤️❤️

It's wonderful seeing these two together. They clearly adore oneanother and their teasing is adorable. They remind me of my parent's marriage - 38 years together and they were still head-over-heels for each other. My mum died suddenly two months ago now. It's been hard on the whole family, but it breaks my heart to see my dad without his soul-mate. But I take comfort in seeing other happy couples with a similar deep connection, like Stephen and Evie seem to have.
I hear you, Laurastar2009, deepest condolences. My son-in-law lost his mother to a sudden heart attack Jan. 13. She was almost 77 years old and she and hubby were nearing their 57th wedding anniversary. It is heartbreaking to lose someone you've spent so many years with.

I once had a stain like that - super old, been through innumerable wash/dry cycles. But then I read about putting WD-40 on it, letting it soak in, then rubbing corn starch into it, then letting it sit, then washing it. Came right out like magic
They talked about it on "Strike Force Five!" and if my memory serves me, he followed her instructions. And the stain simply did not come out.
