Too be fair to tyler he had been talking and we knew of a cs2. exe file since late 2016-2017 cant remember.
And we had small leaks of it every so often that went nowhere.
He was probably tired and tought this was just going to be another hype and fall again.
Cant really blame him for that.
I mean u can always check info before u make big statements. Gabe follower for example made most data mining job revealing clear details that cs2 is in fact real and might be released soon and it's not just a few bait files, and those CS2 (or source2) footprints started to appear quite often during late 2022 so u don't need to be an expert to connect the dots.
Tyler knew that source 2 was coming he was just sceptical about it being a rebrand and about Richards sources being real. Tyler has a lot of mental issues and this was probably a result of one of his episodes, he´s had much worse ones before.
Tyler was the first to give an accurate timeframe for when S2 was going to come out in December 2022. He, like everyone, thought S2 was going to be an update no one would notice. I think he just misunderstood the information RL was reporting on.
