- It's the little cosmetic things that really add that extra bit to the car and are fun to put on. My friends at IND create these cool painted pieces. I also put on the black side gills and show you the weighted wheel caps from BMW that you guys keep asking about.

Stay tuned for more crazy!
I feel Matts pain. Every time I decide to do an easy mod, it seems to take me 3x longer than what its supposed to lol
Matt is a true role model
I love that you offer digital entries. Thank you.
I feel like I’m going back in time 10 years watching this build. Reminds me of my e90 Le Mans m3. Apex wheels and kw coils next…
21:55 when the roundel started to sag as he walked away. Heart skipped a beat...
Looks insane.
Never been a huge BMW fan, probably never will be. However, the mods you do (not just in this video) make the car look so much better imo. Some are subtle and some are not, all of them are classy and tasteful. Also, that blue paint is beautiful!
Not gonna lie, you got pretty aggressive pushing down that emblem....I was like 😳
Thumbs up for that badge!! the smallest details make all the difference.
Looking at the roundel chrome delete and thinking about my Jerez Black M3 made me wonder about a roundel that replaces the chrome AND black with the body color. I’m not sure I would like it, and I’m sure someone has already done it already, but it was just a thought.
Kinda prefer the factory emblem with the chrome. Looks a bit too tunerish in all black surround
Interlagos Blue is going to look so good when it's dialed in.
The new ride is becoming Legit, Did you see Adams video on the crazy paint to sample E92's? There are a couple colors there I have never seen before.
Nothing beats the quality of BMW OEM M performance parts. IND products are cheap Chinese stuff in comparison. Just look at the fitment issues 😂
I just addressed this. M Performance is shadowline. Shadowline is junk.
BMW E9x "M3 Edition Black Chrome Kidney Grills" are very nice. I picked up a set for $125 in 2018. Now BMW increased the price by 5x. Yes $600 for plastic. You should ceramic coat the special kidney grills, since they are hard to keep clean. I would even PPF the surround. Road debris hits the kidney grill first.
Very hard to get the BMW roundels off. Avoid using metal tools. Double tape around the roundel. ECS Tuning has the rubber grommets. For the 50th Anniversary of ///M in 2022, BMW will be releasing the classic ///M roundels on some special edition models. You should be able to get these roundels to retrofit on your own BMWs. It is the white, red, and blue color scheme, would should look nice depending on your body color. Matching BMW classic ///M wheel caps will be available too. IND is on it!!
The simple mods make a huge difference.
Only if they are good mods
Using a little soapwater on the plastic chips makes them snap in easy.
Well you sure made that look easy!
~RESPECT~
Can’t wait for March 15th!
Hey Matt. First, your garage is sick. Second, you take obsession to a whole new level. The BMW looks absolutely incredible. I would love to learn PPF but since I am weekend warrior, it may have to wait. What are the advantages of adding a ceramic coating to PPF?
Between the ppf either being damaged or lifting by the gills and the chip below the rear roundel, I don’t think I could sleep
Hey Matt, looks great drying aid should help those parts sliding in a little easier have a good one as always.
That paint looks weeettttt
Happens to everyone. The roundel you swapped in two seconds took me about an hour. The previous one broke off inside, had to drill it out. Was a whole mess
nice job always better doing it yourself :) next black tips :) i do not like chrome either
"Oh boy, don't drop it in there" ~ Matt 2022
It’s always the damn easiest installs that end up being a pain lol
Will you fix the orange peel on this beauty?
I've pulled TOO HARD trying to remove those grills and broken the tabs slots! Be careful, take your time.
Why do all e92s have that fricken gap between the hood and bumper/kidney grills
Are you going to get rid of the Chrome ring on the wheel cap BMW signs to?
Yes, I did that as well.
Are these grills OEM grills and then IND paints them? Or are they made from scratch by IND?
Correct, Painted OE Grills
Hey Matt, what spoiler is that? It’s aggressive but not over done…think I need one.
It’s BMW M Performance.
Uncle Matty isn't having a good day!
don't ppf the painted reflector so when you want to touch your paint you can touch them Ha,ha...
That paint chip would bother me. Might be worth just touching it up and redoing the ppf.
Was thinking the same. It will never be perfect like repainting it, but real close to perfection.
If you have a chip, ppf will bubble up.
@@Carlos.Rivera I’ve had XPEL done over a small chip that was touched up… never had an issue with it bubbling up and the ppf made the touch up job harder to see.
@@DoctorSpeedy1050 because you touched up, if you leave the imperfection it will bubble up eventually
@@Carlos.Rivera Oh I see what you mean. Yeah, leaving the defect in the paint without touching it up will probably lead to issues.
I respect the fact that you embrace your OCD.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It must be the worst working on a perfect car, imagine if you slip and scratch it or break something
Replacing those badges often ends up with a chip in the paint, or two
Need to get a European Bumper for it, I cant understand how you americans can put up with those side reflectors, would do my head in even the painted covers look stupid.
Yo Matt you need myofunctional therapy so you could stop mouth breathing , just looking out for you !
So cringey
Cringey? Hmm … Matt has always been smarmy in front of a camera. He’s gotten much better in recent years.
