Hi Jason and Danielle. Show us the original big pond where Jason use the tractor to dig it out, how much water is in there? Sell the father of all the babies, so you can first finish the fencing, so there won't be babies before the fencing is finished. Hope you have a wonderful day. Love you both💕💕

I recommend adding one or two electric wires to your fence (I.e., small solar panel, solar charger/fence energizer, & battery). It would discourage the animals from pressing up against on the fence to find the weak spot.

Life will be better with the animals once youre able to string fence, patience is key here. Fix the immediate problems with the fence, put the feed containers in a secure boxed area, fix the gates so they close properly and tightly, and go on with life. Let haters hate, theyre not interested in what you say about how hard its been, theyre only interested in hearing themselves talk trash.. Love ya'll ❤️

Yes, suggested that when he was building the barn. To build a box with a lock on the back where the pets cannot get to the food, nor a wild hog etc. time now to get pigs with pigs, goats with goats, chickens with chicks + nesting boxes, dogs with dogs. And use part of that barn for tractor, tools, saws. Etc and grain. Animals only need a covered shelter of each in their own pasture. Most barns house hay n food for them, machines.. animals like to be out, but nice to have just an open shelter for them. Could designate an area in the barn for new babies. Chickens just need a wired area with shelter n nesting boxes. Doing this makes it easy to do chores..

My question for the day. Jason those dog houses are mighty big, wouldn't it be good to put them in the goat pasture and see how they might be used?

Have you tried using tpost clips instead of zip ties to secure your hog panels? It’ll take some time to do it, but it just might work to keep the animals in. Also, one of those doghouses that aren’t being used could be used to store food & hay. Put a door with a latch & tada-secured. Worth a try, anyway!

  • @rogerkinnis7099

A farm is a labor of love that just happens to cost a lot of time and money. I would pull an electric wire around that fence about nose high to the pigs, I think they are your paddock busters. The dogs are big enough to jump over. Attach the fencing to the posts with some heavy guage twist wire. Good Luck. Have you thought about putting in french drains.

My suggestion for your water issue for you animals to enjoy and get that water to flow where you want it to go. Is to used those long galvanized pipes that you use for plumbing, and run it all the way to where you want that water to flow. Putting one end in the pond next to your road and the other end to where you want the water to fill up. You might have to dig a long trench in the ground for the pipe can set in. Your pond would need a little elevation so the water can flow down. Have a wonderful day!!
