Oooh love me some Vi! Quick question about itemization and runes. When would something like conqueror be good vs using hail of blades? Also eclipse I think I understand, but I do see builds with like trinity force or sundered sky first item before going into either sundered sky second (if not built first) or black cleaver if sundered is already bought. When would you build trinity vs building sundered first? (Sorry for the long question. Big Vi nerd lol)
I personally hate playing vi with conq in any situation tbh I think hail is just simply the better rune. (people will disagree with me but hail does have a higher WR) Build wise I play for bonus atk dmg on vi since that stat works really well on her and eclipse + passive shield provide large amounts of HP. Triforce is for sure more of a conq item to go first since with hob the atks from it is kinda useless and the item also doesn't give much bonus AD. Sundered Sky can be build first but burst damage but as an option it gives 20 ad less than eclipse but its 200g more expensive it does however give that extra 400 hp and the crit heal thing so its good but I think Eclipse consistently performs better if you have good item shield management. Even when going eclipse first against full squish teams you can still go sundered 2nd item since the armor pen from cleaver will lose a bit of value in those situations. So when running HoB fck going triforce not worth. If you're running conq probably rush triforce 1st item though. Otherwise sunderd first can be done but I don't like it over eclipse and 2nd item sunderd holds a bit more value vs full squish teams compared to cleaver.
Yea tri is 100% a conqueror item I will agree. I did see some guides where going tri can be good for if your trying to duel, but idk I always felt sundered on conqueror felt a bit better first item, even in those situations. But yea thanks so much for the help. I asked this cause I’ve seen guides that say that HOB is usually for full squish teams, but it seems to perform well even with tanks, so I just wanted to ask. Love Vi, but I got a lot to learn yknow? Lol
