Whether recognized as indegenous ethnic tribe in Nagaland or not, our people still exist in Nagaland in good numbers. We should be happy about that. As a matter of fact, Zeliang ( kindred tribes) of Rongmei in Nagaland should have stood with Rongmei community and supported them in attaining recognized status for Rongmei but unfortunately they took the other way round. On the other side, we Rongmei people always took the centrestage in upholding and protecting the Zeliangrong identity in Manipur. They prefer to take the role of Cain in the Bible who disown his own brother Abel and slaughter him. Whether we love them or hate them, at the end of the day, we are but one blood.
Population wise, it's been mistaken, becoz our village itself, where zeliangrong lives together, it has a population of 2k plus(one village'rongmei')...but TQ so so much for the vid..
