I was told that my pillaging Mayflower ancestors sat at the table all these generations, so now I had to experience what it was like to not have a seat at the table. BTW my ‘Mayflower ancestors’ arrived in the USA in 1961 after years in a refugee camp and then a humanitarian ghetto. Some bore the tattoo from the camps on their arms. I guarantee you we knew what it was like to not sit at the table.
As a mechanic I love the excellent statement made “the tool we use matters” this will stick with me for years to come. I too would cherish smashing those almost invisible pests. Great illustration! What an eye-opener for any Christian who values God's word. We are called to 'test the spirit's' and CRT does not have any correlation to the gospel. Herein lies the fundamental flaw in Protestantism. Reverend Tom can tell other Christians their "woke" interpretation of the Bible and Christianity are wrong (and I agree with him), but they would (and did, as he described) say the same of his non-woke interpretation. If you believe in sola scriptura it is not possible to say which side is right. That said, I very sincerely appreciate him touching on why he feels Christianity is incompatible with woke. I felt his comments on humanity being relational first as creatures, then rebels, then Sons and Daughters of God was very powerful.
