You've inspired me to do mine outer boot. I've got to work in similar situation as yourself....in a parking spot in my underground parking lot.
    Cheers.

Great video! I have a mates mini to work on and the outer clip/tie has come away and coated the caliper with grease. I really dont want to strip it all off just to re-secure the tie! The boot is perfect.

Watch out as plastic zip ties may not work as the protruding locking head hits the inside of the hub and gets pushed off. The steel ones are best.

Another excellent video. Give the claw hammer to a local carpenter and invest in a couple of engineers ball peen hammers. It'll make your life so much easier. I agree, don't abuse the ratchet, it's not teaching beginners a very good lesson. Try a longer lever such as a breaker bar. Hit tools as a last resort.

how come u didnt tighten axle nut with tires on the floor, too small center hole?

Its because I'd have to use an extension which makes it more likely to slip off dude

Great video - what rubber CV boots are you using there? Curious if they are the cheaper ones that dont last as long or something different?

I think that one was from minispares (3 concertina with long neck to go on cv)
But I haven't found a decent boot that will last and wont break the clips on 7.5" conversion kit.

Zip ties eh? Have any issues with them? I would suspect them to be less reliable than the metal ear clamp types.

Metal ones catch the back of the hub and fall off dude

Guessing I don’t have to drop the oil this way ?
