I don't care if Louis has been with Armand for 77 years. Lestat is the one that lives in Louis' soul, not Armand. Lestat is confessing the horrible thing he did to Louis and also admitting that he is flawed for what he did, but that he also loved with total abandon and wanted to be loved in return.
Also Louis was egging him on in a deranged way and was going to leave him even he promised not to after he baby trapped Lestat. Also he got angry for Lestat choking Claudia but in the last Episode Louis choked Claudia when she wanted to burn Lestat. Louis unconsciously and consciously manipulates in his own way.
I am waiting for the day this show actually gets all the Emmys because this show has some of the best acting I've seen in so long!! Give them ALL the awards now!

I wish they used their love theme music like they did in the first season. It’s so pretty but they don’t play it anymore in the new season
