Hi, Loved your reviews. Which one would you recommend for 5 yr olds? My first time traveling with them to an all inclusive abroad and am a bit apprehensive of where to go so they can enjoy and be safe.
Thank you for the kind words. We took two 7 yr olds when we went and they had a blast. No issues with feeling safe and we walked to the grocery store down the street which is amazing. Pretty much a Wegmans
@@detailedtraveler Thank you for the very informative comparison. We are planning on staying 3 nights at the Fiesta Coral and splitting the other 4 nights at Hyatt Ziva. I am just wondering if 3 nights is enough for the Fiesta Coral. travelling with seniors and kids. thanks!
@@vanillaespresso8055 I think that will be enough. You can focus on hitting the good restaurants. Make sure to take a day to go to Isla Mujeres if you have time. Rent a golf cart
Thanks for the great reviews of each! General question regarding beaches...can you walk from the Grand Fiesta around to the Ziva beaches and then around the point to the east-facing beaches? Or do you have to go out to the front/street area?
Great reviews. We have stayed at the Grand before , loved it. We are going to Live Aqua in August. Have you been ? How would you compare it to the Grand.
Tim thank you so much. We loved the Grand as well just loved the Ziva a bit more. I have not been to the Live Aqua but always looking for new spots. Please let me know how you like it, I love going to Mexico the service can't be beat.
Lax, I had to go to the website to read what the club level included. I would say the only real thing that stood out to me was the Private lounge if that is important to you. The room pictures looked exactly like the room I was in, and I don't need upgraded snacks or drinks b/c it is an all-inclusive. The check-in process was very smooth so I wouldn't worry about that, the main item that could be intriguing to me would be the lounge but we go with our entire family so we like to be close to each other and with lots of kids in the family that wouldn't really be beneficial.
I don't think their was a water kid section at the Grand Fiesta but from what I saw at the Hyatt Ziva it looked like a drop kids off situation and when there weren't instructors in there it looked like no one was in there. That is a great question I would say no off the bat but if you call the resort they should be able to clear that up.
Thank you so much Cristina. They both have nightly activities whether that be an outside show like acrobatics, dancing, and music. Both resorts have game rooms as well that house pool tables VR and such for teens.
ok-thanks. Which hotel would you say is more of a lively one. Looking for music at the pools during the day, dancing in the club? If not either of these do you know of a good hotel along the hotel zone in any section upper, lower, or central that has great pool vibes and a good nightclub/disco at night, and good food?@@detailedtraveler
I would say both these resorts are more family focused for sure. They both have pool activities and music but the entire resort is family focused. I don't have any recommendations in Cancun for non-family resorts bc when we went it was with our large family with little ones. I would look at adult only resorts in Cancun and that will def hit what you are looking for.
Linda great question. I would say they are quite similar in the night life scene. This would be wrapped around two different bars/restaurants. Hyatt Ziva has a bar / club and the Grand Fiesta has the Havana Club which is a restaurant / dance club. There is nightly family entertainment at each in the sense of acrobatic shows and such. Linda I did 3 part reviews of each resort on the channel (Room & Resort / Food / Pools & Beaches) if you are interested in the finer details.
Thx a lot for all your videos, bery high quality and detailed. It's always such a pain to decide where to go every time. Cheers man, Ziva it is 🍻
You are very welcome I'm glad they were helpful
We're going to the hyatt ziva in a couple months. I can't wait.😊
It is still one of my favorite resorts. Good, service, and amenities are all amazing
Thanks for the video. Very helpful!

Now I'm blushing 🥹

Great review. Do you know if we can walk from Grand Coral to Hyatt Ziva? We are splitting our stay.
Yes they are pretty much right next to each other. Easy walk right up the street.

Thanks John. I'm pretty sure you can walk from the Grand Fiesta to the lighthouse. I believe my sister in law did it when we were there.
Amazing comparison! I have been thinking which one I should pick for my upcoming vacation, thank you!
You are very welcome. Thank you for watching and the wonderful comment.

Live aqua is amazing! Great food, beach, and Zen vibe. An adults only resort though.
Are Club rooms at Ziva worth the extra price?

Which all-inclusive would you recommend for a first-time Cancun trip for a family with 2 & 5-year-olds?
They are both amazing honestly but I found the Hyatt Ziva to be an overall better resort with more room to spread out due to it's location.
Can adults go with kids to the splash pad/water slide area at either resort?
I don't think their was a water kid section at the Grand Fiesta but from what I saw at the Hyatt Ziva it looked like a drop kids off situation and when there weren't instructors in there it looked like no one was in there. I thought the north part of Cancun has less seaweed
Great profile pic. I'm not sure just sharing what I experienced.
What month did you go there?
July
Love your videos, do they have game arcades or evening activities for teens?
Thank you so much Cristina. They both have nightly activities whether that be an outside show like acrobatics, dancing, and music. Both resorts have game rooms as well that house pool tables VR and such for teens.
Thank you
Did either of these resorts have an onsite nightclub?
Yes they both had them. Grand fiesta had the Havana restaurant that turns into a club, while Ziva had a bar/club

great video, great detail.... I have been to both hotels.... grand food was better.... and spa was great... diva was great too.
Thank you Madison. I couldn't agree more they were both excellent.
great video, thanks man!
Thanks for the appreciation 👍
Are the cabanas exrta?
Yes they are
How about night life
