Thank you very much for the kind words. There is a Denny's that looked really nice down the road. It is within walking distance for a nice morning walk. I would go there bc you will def get more for your money. It is right across from the resort that has the "House without a key" restaurant

Thanks Benji. I would say if you are looking for a quieter time then I would def. book the adult side. The restaurants over there seemed to be a bit more polished as well. I would just book the adult side at the same time you book the whole trip. The pool is quieter and very beautiful, as well as having better drink service. The beach has a designated area as well which will be quieter. If you don't mind a bit of family chaos you could opt for the family side though.

Agreed. It has good reviews but I totally understand what you are saying. I have stayed at some decent Hiltons but this one was horrible

Thank you for this feedback and the insight on both resorts. I'm so sorry you had to deal with that at the Sheraton, that would be quite frustrating. I totally agree with you on the luggage at the Sheraton but I didn't have or notice any of the other issues. Once again I could be looking through rose colored glasses due to my experience at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. It is nice to know that the other towers are way nicer thanks for the input. We did a lot of travelling around so we thought a rental was necessary, especially with our 8 pieces of luggage. Thanks for all the help. Safe Travels

I was referring to when you said : " Marijuana is not illegal ". At the time I thought, if you put together and edit a video, wouldn't you watch it and make sure there are no mistakes? But that's ridiculous. Everyone makes mistakes and I've made more than my share. So again, i apologize. I probably spent way too much time watching shorts the other day. Keep doing your thing. The beer selection was pretty weak. There definitely wasn't high noons. There were servers that came around to take orders but bc the pools were close to the pool side bars sometimes it was faster to get your own drinks

We went in June. I don't know if specific months are worse, but I know certain sides of the island aren't affected due to the direction it comes in.

I didn't get a chance to see any other tower (inside) besides the Rainbow. There is def. plenty to do just be prepared to pay for everything. The beach and views are quite amazing though. I believe my friend stayed in the Ali tower, so I'll ask him and let you know if that is true and his thoughts if he did.

I remember going to Rontos after as well. I totally agree with your sentiments on the hotel. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Greetings fellow Travelers, I too was able to complete via the host. In fact, unless each person in your party showed them the correct data on your data pad they wouldn't give a coaster to that person. My daughter had to finish her mission and come back for her coaster.

@@laurentran1341 parking at the Sheraton is free and there is a large parking lot down by where our room was. There is a smaller parking lot down at the other end of the resort. We never had any issues finding a spot. I wouldn't waste money on valet parking at this resort

Wow that is strange. It must be a smaller lounge? I would have been disappointed with that as well. I'm glad your experience on the flight was enjoyable though. Where did you stay in the DR if you don't mind me asking

@@detailedtraveler The Boston Terminal E Delta lounge is actually brand new and huge. Delta never explained why First Class passengers to the Caribbean are denied access, but I hope they change their policy. We stayed in the Majestic Elegance resort in Punta Cana and had a great time. There are 3 Majestic resorts next to each other and if you stay at one - you get access to the other 2 as well.

Thank you for this and that is really frustrating for sure. I will check out those resorts. I wasn't a huge fan of the DR when we went but I have only been there once. The water was beautiful, I was a bit disappointed with the service.

@@detailedtraveler It was our first time to the DR and our first All Inclusive experience. We enjoyed it but don't have anything to compare it to.

10.4 Mexico All-Inclusives have the best service that we have found to this point.

We were there in June. That isn't a bad price at all. I would have preferred to be at a smaller place. That is way more my speed. Did you do any local activities?

​@detailedtraveler Yea that's when we went as well in June. But, We did pearl harbor, hanauma bay, north shore, dole plantation. We did Chiefs luau. You know the touristy stuff 😂

@@ky0611 sounds amazing. We did quite a lot of touristy stuff as well. Did you have a good time? I loved most of the activities we did just not this resort. Also I loved Kauai.

@@detailedtraveler o yea awesome time! I'd recommend sheraton waikiki if you go again. Alot of the issues that you mentioned were not so much of an issue there. But I'll have to check out the kauai video we were eyeing that for next time. Oahu is really developed so we were looking into more island like.
