I think people forget that being a GK is like it’s own sport entirely
As a goalkeeper this statement hits so hard after hearing from so many strikers that it’s always our faults. How can it be the goalkeepers fault if it got through the outfield players first?
I played field hockey and that's even more extremely true, football keeper can run out and be a field player but that's literally against the rules for hockey (but you can sub gk off for 11 field players)
@@OtterSC2 damm that’s rough. Us keepers gotta stick together wether it’s football, hockey, lacrosse, or really any other sport.
@@Doseoffutbolit’s been a few years but in high school I played as a defensive midfielder and I miss playing so badly! I’m 24 years old now and too old to start playing again but I hope that I can one day join a local club to have some fun. So many pros start playing at age 5 years old.

thanks for the video, and with the mic’d up ones I like them because I can hear you being vocal which sometimes I get a bout nervous about but then I see your mic’d up videos and it gives me confidence because I can see one of my favourite keepers isn’t worried about being vocal, so why should I?

I played soccer (futbol) in high school a few years back and I haven’t played since graduating, and at 24 years old I may be too old to think of playing as anything more than a hobby but I really want to get out onto the pitch again as a defensive midfielder like I was before.
