I think you’re right. Mr Benson (played by Mal White) blowing his whistle, set off the plot of this episode, Old Grey Whistle Theft. Then it wouldn’t be long until it was stolen.
In everything I just googled, he’s listed as Irish but I’m Welsh and can definitely hear a Welsh accent in his speech.
