Kind of reminds me of that line in Jurassic Park; "Are there actually any dinosaurs on this dinosaur tour?". But hey, that's the nature of hunting in real nature vs. controlled game pens. Thanks for the reality check.
We have been scounting Richloam, I think it is just north of Green Swamp. How often do you see hogs in relation to how many times you find their tracks or wallows? We have been out 5 or 6 times, find their tracks, wallows, dug up areas, rubs... but never seem to find them. We have gone from before sunrise to 10am, are there better times? Do you all walk all day? We also have a blind, any recommendation on where to place this, other than with the wind on our face?
We get pretty lucky running into hogs, it hasn't setup yet for us to get a clean ethical shot..they disappear into the brush pretty quick. We still hunt most of the time walking as far as we can away from pressure.. Usually there are wallows and rooting all over.. so we try to look for fresh scat or tracks
Well go early in the morning and stay out until lunch or so..well usually skout the area and head back to camp.. around 3 or 4 we will head back out again usually this would be our best time
Hey thanks for the vid. I am going soon. Did you take power line road? Where did you park the truck on the side of the road? I want to go but dont feel like walking through Ocean to lake trail. I would rather drive up and scout. I am going to the Dupuis WMA Gate #1
Glad you enjoyed it 👍 We usually drive up to one of the fire breaks on powerline road and park off on the side of the dirt road and walk down until we find a fresh set of tracks or game trail. There is also a lot of horse trails and hiking loop trails that are marked by different color blazes on the trees.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate it I'm glad you liked the video...not many people like hunting animals so they may thumbs down..that's okay tho because the engagement actual helps thumbs down are just as good as thumbs up
The Hogs have to go they are not native to Florida. Just like the pythons. All non-native species must be eliminated. Some people just don't understand that
Hey im looking to hunt with an AR-15 soon but you gotta have a 5 round mag or make it so it doesnt hold ore than five. Im assuming you did that in this video... whatd ya use to abide by that law (if you did lmao)?
Yes sir at this WMA. Center-fire Rifles are allowed but must have a 5 round mag. You have to check the regulations for the specific WMA that you plan to hunt as not all of them allow Rifles. Myfwc.com has all the pertinent information you need.
Tampa area has green swamp wma, they have a high harvest of hogs.. South Florida has jw and Dupuis wma.. it's best to find property that neighbors or is close to the management areas. The kissimee area is also loaded with hogs shouldn't be hard to find land there that has pigs walking through it
If you go to myfwc.com you can look up the info, maps, hunting seasons, rules and regulations, weapon requirements, bag limits, etc., for every Wildlife Management Area.
Haven't been to Big Cypress yet but I believe you need the quota permit along with a WMA permit to hunt hogs, plus a hunting license and deer permit for deer hunting. You can look up more info on myfwc.com or the FWC APP. ✌️ This hunt was filmed at Dupuis WEA
38 minutes and ZERO HOGS DEAD! Seriously guys? Next time warn us that it’s a nature walk and NOT A HOG HUNT! Frucking potheads wandering around in crocs and flip flops.
Hunting is not just about killing an animal. Is about the pursuit and the challenges of actually finding Wild Hogs on Thousands of Acres of Woods. If all you want to see is hogs getting killed you should watch someone sit in front of a feeder or fly over them with a chopper. This is for real hunters that understand how hard it actually is to find hogs in the wild and appreciate the grind.
@@HOGHUNTERBROS my comment is really eating you up. Look kid, I’ve hunted for longer than you’ve been alive. Finding a hog in a Florida swamp is about as easy as finding crow on road kill. You guy were banging around, snapping twigs , and trampling through like noisy children. Not to mention your not likely to happen across hogs at high noon. Real hunters huh. Real hunters wear flip flops will be my new credo. Grow up. Get serious. Accept criticism and use it to refine and improve. I’ve day stalked a mountain goat in Utah and shot Elk with an arrow in Wyoming at 8:00am . Both daylight stalk and drops of superior quarry. You can’t find a blind shit eater in its pen. Real hunter.
I get the same foolishness when talking to people about hunting pigs like these experienced hunters don't read clearly says orange for deer they will argue with me i respond try reading you'll learn something
New subscriber here. Love your video. We have a similar RUclips channel if you want to check it out, "Hunt and Gather with the Chatters". I wish we had more hogs in Arizona.
Yeah we were at Corbett 👍 unfortunately we couldn't find any hogs on this hunt. If you watch our Arcadia Hunting Video we had an awesome hunt over there on some private land. Got a Huge Hog in that video🤙
@@HOGHUNTERBROS I hunted Corbett for years. You can see where the Hogs are rooting up everything but they are very elusive. I had a hog call never got lucky in Corbett. I got a monster hog in Salem Florida up in the Panhandle you can try 3 lakes wma if you're in south Florida
@@unknowncurlz Each wma has different seasons and certain regulations. Check out myfwc.com for more information, and make sure to subscribe for more videos.
No sir unfortunately we could not find any wild hogs during this hog hunt. Lots of hunting pressure in the area and these hogs know how to hide in the thickest, nastiest cover possible.
@@HOGHUNTERBROS I'm sure you'll find them the next time. This is how I want to hunt my first pig. No sport in shooting the animal in fenced enclosure next to the feeder, may as well buy pork at Publix.
Lol. Your actually right bud! I managed to spot a group of about 12 or 14 hogs in the next episode of (Wild Hog Hunting In Central Florida) "THE SHOT" I was able to put the stalk on them from about 200-60 yrds
Never Is the gun POINTED in a DANGEROUS direction, without safety ON and FINGERS OFF the TRIGGER.. HOW DO YOU KNOW..IF THE WEAPON EVEN HAS A BULLET CHAMBERED?
"Come on"? Where are we going ? "Man" No hunting or discharging a fire arm within a quarter mile of the campsites. THERE WERE NO SLUGS IN THE SHOTGUN!! and the muzzle was pointed down and to the left of my bro. That tree stand is an old scout stand.. Try practicing holding and aiming your rifle in the bush.. so when the time comes..your ready
This was a video of the full hunt to show people what we go through during a hunt. Hunting is not just about killing an animal, it's about the pursuit. We have another video hunting in Arcadia and successfully harvest a massive sow feel free to check it out. You might enjoy that one better ✌🏻
The brain dead shit killed me I’ve been trying to do some hog hunting most of the people I know are flakes unfortunately. I’ve been hitting areas around fort pierce and port saint Lucie. Not to many hunters this way apparently lot of hogs some weird people tho like the videos.

Hey man just came across ur video and was wondering for hog hunting public land with an ar u need to have just the 10 rd mag right or is it 5?
5 round mag for most of the Florida WMAs you can check myfwc.com for more info on specific WMA's that you plan on hunting. 🤙🏻
Im all for Florida hunting! The 10 to 30 degree temps here in New York State during big game don't work well for catching a tan from a treestand 🍻
Yeah man. Those cold early mornings in Florida are a bitch..I can only imagine NY lol

Consider putting a sling on your rifles so you can use both hands to climb the stands, BE SAFE. good video, good hunting.

The slings are super helpful

Yes sir you need to purchase a 5 round mag to legally hunt with a centerfire rifle on most WMA's in Florida
You can purchase one online or at your local armsdealer
Got mine from Bass Pros Shops
@@HOGHUNTERBROS yeah i ended up just getting an OK industries 10 rounder then putting some legos in it to make it only hold 5.

Not sure where you are hunting but if its gun season you need to have safety orange on. Video was cool..
Still Hunt Hog Season. You only need to wear orange if you are hunting for deer during General Gun.
I wear camouflage all the way!
Yeah your right tho
They do want you wearing orange sometimes
