Hi,i,m hobby(sigh) placer mining a stream that cuts trough the middle of a pluton which has a granite core, then syenite and then monzonite.
Apparently the pluton has undergone also a tilting ,so now its horizontally with the roof pointing downstream.
As holyday miner i,m very curious where the chunky nuggets may have formed .
Are there returning traits where bigger gold is more likely to form in these plutons ?
like more in the granite core or in the outer monzonite complexfor example.
    Thanks
