Today I won this scenario again. I used "rescue base" strategy again. I fought 1st wave of hussars & hackapells. I hardly kept 5-10 sepoys at main base and escaped all my villagers to "rescue base" to rebuild defenses & economy. Then I built 2nd town center in lower left corner near "arsonist barracks". Running away from waves & delaying waves is the best strategy. Just imagine if you just don't fight 2nd wave of longbows & rockets then? If 2nd wave is not killed then automatically 3rd wave will be delayed. Keep in mind, computer AI's concentration lies on your main base only. It will attack your secondary base only when it approaches your main base from trading post site at the lower part of the map. You'll face moderate artillery attacks from trading post route while the main gate of British fort will unleash continues waves of rockets, falconets, redcoats periodically. Understand, the British troops deployed at your main base will choose to stay in position & will never charge on your rescue/secondary base built on left side unless you reach them to fight. Trick is to use 8-10 howdahs & 2-3 siege elephants to destroy everything. Step by step demolish 1. Saltpeter sites (it will decrease the frequency of attacks on your rescue base) 2. Destroy longbows on hill in front of saltpeter site & bombard tower behind it. 3. Then start with central trading post, stable, saloon, plantations, mills & artillery foundry. 4. Combo of howdahs & siege elephants is ultimate. 5. Take down town center and hold on position. 6. Now its time to use another set of howdahs 8-10 to take down waves of rockets, falconets, redcoats deployed at your main base site. 7. It good if you have infinite howdah card in deck & riding school card (fast cavalry). 8. Continuously keep producing howdahs while you take down rockets, falconets, redcoats, hussars. Else then undefeated British units will start approaching your rescue base & rice paddies. 9. Meanwhile when your howdahs fight rockets, falconets, redcoats, hussars let your villagers build trading post at "Bhakti temple", the tiger claws will add to your numbers (damn useful). 10. After killing British units deployed at your main base now build all 7 blockhouse+fort (russian consulate) at various points in zigzag manner for protection. Position surviving howdahs, tiger claws near sea shore. 11. Now use your 8-10 howdahs & 2-3 siege elephants (on hold) near demolished British town center to take down hussars, culverin, redcoats & longbows stationed at the back of British fort. (target culverin first) 12. Now start knock off walls just behind command post. 13. A flash will be seen near British docks & East India Company will send re-enforcement navy loaded with 8-10 falconets+2 mortars, 10-15 hussars, 20 redcoats for colonel Edwardson's help. 14. Meanwhile your siege elephants will take down British fort command post within 18 seconds. Command post HP : 4500 Siege Elephants attack : 70 (x10 vs buildings) = 700 rate of fire : 6 sec 3 Siege Elephants = 2100 attack in one strike > 18 seconds > 3 hits from 3 siege elephants > fort command goes down Then approaching re-enforcement from East India Company will be for nothing. Anyways 8-10 howdahs & 20 tiger claws will take down all of 8-10 falconets+2 mortars, 10-15 hussars, 20 redcoats. Congratulations !!! You have won India mission 5. Jai Hind !!! Vande Mataram !!!
