I love everything about this video 💛, double fisting brushes, painting, and critiquing! 🎨 The Illumination turned out beautifully. Snicklefritz all day!
Maestro Snicklefritz ~ I am so happy that Algorithm brought us together. I shall enjoy our future time spent as I the eager but ernest acolyte view your past teachings and henceforth make time to await your future sessions as you chose.
Snicklefritz for sure - commenting this actually from the Dutch city of Utrecht - where the name of the brushes stems from 😄 Loved the painting and the learning points you shared! Also: would totally see Rembrandt wear yellow crocs in his days, it made the outfit haha.
I am the opinion that it is actually that colors are more important than the brushes, as i noticed the big difference there in colors beeing more evently in viscosity. In the end having good materials for both is just more fun! However great painting and video snicklefritz :D
I love new vlog, exciting when prep your colour palate. Well we all different and have struggle to pick our practice of drawing/painting particular challenge. I believe re-shooting a particular area that caused a painting uneasier can be worth fixing its pose to meet the artist's interest. I can't complain because the portrait came out so strong, your style in how you mixed is definitely you, this style always has me/us stunned for a moment man!!! I totally had an exciting time watching this vlog, I need snacks next time because I couldn't help but feel motivated. Congratulations for everything you lay your hand at making your craft incredible at business.
"I'm just bad at painting hands" *paints a perfectly good, realistic hand lol Good on you for acknowledging that starting and knowing when to be finished are the hardest parts in the whole process though! My snicklefritz broke.
snickelfritz slew, great portrait I like the robe with the lights and shadows, the hands are awesome too the loosey undetail hands dont catch the focus, good job
Hey Snicklefritz, great video once again! I remember watching your stencil videos years ago and it’s crazy how much your video’s have changed and evolved. I appreciate you talking more about technique and composition and brushes and everything, and you shifting from spray paint to oil paints shows that you want to evolve and try different things. Dope! I do wonder though: is this painting part of a series, or does it have any backstory? I’ve always loved your storytelling but this time you kept me guessing. I’d love to hear you talk about where you got the inspiration to paint this specific composition, how it fits into a bigger narrative, … If it doesn’t that’s cool, but I remember you said a couple times before that you love telling stories with your paintings, and it’s always been prominent in your work, so I can’t imagine this painting just coming to fruition without you thinking about that. I’m really curious because it’s what makes your paintings yours. Thanks for the video! Keep having fun with it, keep pushing your creativity! All the love and support, Thuban
Damn bro you snicklefritz all over this bad boy. Really fun video from beginning to end! Love the passion you bring to it and seeing your brushstrokes throughout the whole process was really cool 🎨
Heya Sam, I am so intrigued with your painting process. I know SLEW is the core of your brand, but I just cannot help myself! I do enjoy seeing how you alter your source imagery, well done! I was surprised with the blue and thought the green was a better choice, but then again it is your painting! I have recently been looking at varnishes and waiting for oil to dry is such a DRAG! SO have you tried InstaVar varnish? I have seen it at Jerry's Artarama at a reasonable price too! I would love to see you do a review even though that is not really your "thing" but it would be nice to see someone I recognize using it!
Snickelfritz but I hope you meant Schnitzelfrritz :) Schnitzel is a famous dish here in Vienna. I love the painting. Don't worry about the hands. i just learned that some of the old masters decided on wired proportions as a mean of composition.
snaplefraze? nice i tried to spell it. I dunno man i think you might be overthinking those hands, they look great, but you are definitely your toughest critic ;) great job and love how you handle the lighting, great work!
Snigglefritz. Lmao SLEW was having the time of his life filming this one! I love the little gallop in the beginning of the video/your overall personality, I do the same artist shenanigans 😂💕 I always feel like I'm floundering in the beginning stages too, and hands/fabric kick my butt too😩😂 You did an impressive job though, wow😲🔥!
Slew you keep talking about how the hands are wonky and the one holding the paint brush looks cut off but it looks fine. Maybe I need to see it in person but there is nothing wrong with either hand to me. If it's really bothering you just break it down a lil further into planes as far as the fingers are concerned. Although, I don't think you need to as there are some master painters who do even less than what you did and looks just fine. Everything does not need to be brought up to a high level only the things you want us the viewer to focus on. You can get away with simply implying. May I suggest that you do part of the painting next time with a palette knife especially for more textured areas like the color and the paint on the paint palette. In fact, maybe that can be one of your challenges in the future. Doing a whole painting or learning to paint with just a palette knife as they come in a variety of shapes and open up a new perspective for you. It just might liberate you altogether.......or not maybe but it would be fun.
Hope everyone is painting and getting weird❤️
Yes I am. Thank you. You are awesome. Living the life is want to
I haven’t had brush to canvas in a few weeks. Mostly doing digital art for now, but soon I hope to be painting again! (I’ve always bee weird)

No idea, old old not so great one but it does the job

Does anyone knows the beats on slews videos?
Snicklefritz
Snickelfritz?
Snickalfritz
Snickelfritz
snickelfritz?
How do you talk so quickly without passing out? And, don't call me Percy.
Hi Slew. From my vision, your self- portrait is very good. But the right arm seems a little skinny and weak. You need to fixed it.
What t f is a snickelfritz?
Dear men… what’s stopping you from dressing like this?
Yes exactly
Your technique is very poor and the final result too. Thousands of layers were missing to have a decent result.😊
Great painting right there and really is making me wanna learn even more (snicklefriz)
You’re living the life I want to man. 🤍
You are awesome. Make more videos like these. They inspire me
