- And we are off to our new home!! We are packing up and leaving Breckenridge Colorado and driving cross country to our new home, a home that we have never seen before, ahhh 😱 Our road trip is full of stunning mountain landscapes, cute little towns, and some questionable sleeping situations. We are off on our new adventure and can’t wait for this next chapter to begin

As an avid boater and fan of all things boating related on YT, I wasn’t sure if I would really have any interest in following your newest adventures…on land. The Nordhavn series was so awesome, and your editing of those videos was top-shelf. But, after watching this video, I am definitely on board. You guys are great storytellers and seem to be so focused on unlocking all that life has to offer. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!

We’re giving it our all and are up for almost anything! Lol
One thing is for sure, that trailer will be a lot more comfortable than the car for sleeping.
Hahah yes it will be!! After years of car camping and sleeping in tents this thing is going to feel like luxury! Haha 😆
If I can give you a tips regarding reversing a trailer: Put your hand at the bottom of the steeringwheel, then move the hand the same way you want the trailer to turn. (If you want to see the trailer in your left mirror, move your hand to the left, and if you want to see the trailer in your right mirror, move your hand to the right.) Use small movement of the steeringwheel.
That way you sit normally in the driver´s seat faceing forward with full control of the cars frontend, and the trailer thru the side-mirrors. And by looking at your hand on the bottom at the steeringwheel you know which way the trailer turns. ;-)

Also, I would have asked for another room just as you did. The hotel/motel should have taken care of that cigarette stench before even thinking of renting it out.

That roof rack isn’t that waterproof if it’s like the one we used. I’d put things that you don’t mind getting wet instead of clothes, ours got drenched
Thankfully our clothes didn’t get wet because we had them all in garbage bags but water did get into the roof rack so I’m glad we stopped to fix it
You are living my dream. I fully retire in a year and I have been looking at Class C RV's with the plan of hitting the road.. I can not wait to see your future videos of your travels. I have actually started a list on my phone of places to go and I'm sure you guys will be helping me to add to it......so excited for you all!

Well good luck with the trailer, I’ve owned three of them myself had lots of fun with them. But you’re gonna need a bigger tow vehicle to go up and down the hills
“On the road again”. Interesting first episode watching you cope with land travel. Noticed not many hints of blue in the video as compared to all the blue in scenes from Encore. Can’t wait to see your new home-will you be giving it a name? Loved seeing Camo adjusting to life on the road. Continued safe travels.
Some more blue water will be in our future not to worry. I am quite obsessed with stunning blue water myself 🤩 and we have considered giving it a name! Maybe do a naming contest?!

We can’t wait to share it!! And we kept it small so that it was manageable for us and the car :)

When they can be organized, I suggest doing it at the beginning of the chapter, like a nautical chart, so that all its followers around the world can have an idea of dimensions, miles traveled, etc.
I do not know if you are going to travel more routes with the small trailer, remember that your tires must be at the correct pressure, and that they do not support high permanent speed, you have to check at each stop.

We are planning on keeping a “boat log” for our trailer to keep track of miles traveled! And thank you for the reminders about tires, there is so much to learn about the new lifestyle. Just when we were getting it all figured out we decided to change it all lol

We are keeping our options open and are going to see how it does! If the xterra doesn’t cut it a truck will be in our future, but deff hoping it can handle it!

Ahh gotcha well the cargo weight is different than the towing capacity. The cargo capacity is only about 850 lbs. the towing capacity is 5,000 lbs. so we should be good 👍🏼

Lol fair enough. Cruising is incredible and we LOVED jumping off the back of the boat into the Caribbean if it wasn’t for covid we would probably be down in Aruba right now!!
