I love this game so much although it's very different from the movie. This is one of my favorite games I played in elementary.
in earlier versions of the movie, the furnace was suppose to be in the basement but since the finale has the house leaving behind the basement, that had to be changed.why the gba version kept this is beyond me... well limitations aside.
People are talking about how the furnace is a very hard bossI'm talking about Cacklettas Soul from Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga

That's funny, I just tanked the pipes somehow and did it that way. Didn't even know there was a boss fight!
i thought the final boss would be the house like in da movie

Iirc they didn’t watch the movie, they just were given the characters and the house.
I have Monster House on the ps2 and it is a pretty good game that follows the movie.
I am still stuck to this day on this. been stuck for about 7 years maybe more.

This was one of the most hardest and frustrating games I’ve ever played tbh.
i'd use jenny or chowder for this boss and use DJ to put the water inside the furnace and move the pipes
