Ah so, if a block has the same name in one file and the same in another but the blocks in the two files are different, if you try and bring in the block from the second file into the first file, AutoCAD will recognize it as a duplicate definition and ignore it. You’ll need to rename a block to something unique. The rename command only works for renaming, the block editor would be how you can change the composition of the block. Hope that helps!
