Summery.
Episode : 40 Riker's estranged father visits to brief him on the command he has been offered, and Worf's friends discover he is about to miss an important Klingon rite of passage.

Historically, before Klingons had "pain stick" technology, the Klingon undergoing the "Ascension Ceremony" would just receive four pairs of really bad "purple nurples" as he walked through.
