The story "Girl Meets World" is about riley they put a girl who had everything to be the main character she had a family,she had a nice home,she ate everyday without a care
But then there's a broken girl,who had nothing,her mom wasn't here,her dad left them,and she always ate her emotions she would feel sometime of way but no one knows what she's feeling cause she eats them up
The story is "Girl Meets World" it's about a girl who had everything but if the story were "Girl Meets Life" it would be about a broken girl who would never give up in life but tries to make a living out of it who never gives up because she knows she has a future ahead of her
I like that story it has a meaning to it...........But do you like it what message does that story give you?

petition to have a third show called Girl Meets Life where Riley moves out and ends up kind of like Mayas family, working 24/7 unable to eat some days never socialising anymore and finally realising what Maya went through and hides the struggle (again) and we see her finally evolving and learning what the real world had in store for her whereas Maya is actually better off and offers help to Riley and she refuses and finally Riley is a better friend to Maya because she finally fully understood part of what Maya went through

Did you watch the show? He didn't choose Riley, He chose Maya, but Maya sacrificed her love for him for Riley, it's also ridiculous you think Riley has no problems. Riley had problems, she didn't talk about them as openly as Maya, I think Rileys whole "bubbly happy" persona was fake, she had a breakdown over ONE person.
One thing i didn't like was when she was crying and she was hugging cory and her mom was just watching her cry...

Lucas chose riley. Of course. The happy kid with no problems. The girl with all the luxury she needs. The bubbly riley who has a whole family. But everyone forgets about the broken girl. No one chooses maya. It was always riley. Riley everything and im sick and tired of it. I used to ship lucaya, yes. But now I'm just mad at the writers. How could he choose riley? Why does riley have everything she wants? And what's left for maya??? Maya liked lucas and lucas chose someone else. It was MAYA that pushed riley at the subway station that day to talk to lucas. It was maya who was broken, but it was also maya who is giving for her best friend. Maya does deserve better.
But soon there would be a Maya and a Josh, she has a father figure that cares about her now, her mother is around more, and I feel like Maya's life was always meant to be more realistic than Riley's. From the beginning I knew Lucas will pick Riley, because to me the guy she really actually liked was Josh, even when the love triangle was around Maya was still really into Josh. To me Lucas was just a rebound crush because Josh was older than her and wouldn't act on it.
leo_with_the_mane there is no "soon". Gmw isn't getting a season 4. But what we're left with w/ joshaya is "i'll play the long game." And having an abandoned father and a mother that isn't there for you isn't "realistic", it's character abuse.
no it's realistic for many people. My father left me, mother had to work so she wasn't around much. I feel like since the writers gave that story to Maya they realized there's people in this situation in reality. And maybe they didn't wanna make it so unrealistic but hopeful for those kids that watched it.

Maya needs a lot more episodes about her. The show is basically about Riley in the perspective of Maya. Riley is the one with a father, a mother at home, some people to love (except that maya loves riley) so she basically has a perfect life. Are people forgetting about Maya, the girl with out a father? The girl who has to go home hoping her parents will be home for dinner? The girl hoping her father will come back? They make stupid episodes about small things of Riley. When she lost her bear, Maya wanted tacos but she didn’t get any because Riley was too focused on her bear until she realised it was childish and got tacos? So she wasted so much time. Like when Charlie asked her to the dance instead of Lucas, she had to make a big deal about it but she could’ve just gone with Charlie but because she likes Lucas more, she had to make a scene.
Maya is the most relatable character, we need more like her.

Most people who comment probably don’t realize that a lot of the happy bubbly people are actually waking up every morning just to put a smile on there face. Even though I personally am angry at the writers, the reason is because they ended the show to early. I think that if they continued to do the show we would have been able to dig more into rilly’s mind. Which would help more people understand how someone who has a mental illness lives.

Everyone needs a Riley. That’s always been me, the girl with no problems, the perfect family, the perfect life. And when I started high skl I met my maya. She lives with her gran because her dad is in jail and her mum is an addict. She is the most amazing person in the world. She is always there for everyone else but never opens up about how she’s feeling. She gets into fights at skl and goes out drinking on the weekends. I asked her why, why do you go looking to get suspended from skl, why do you try to get urself grounded? Her answer was ‘because it helps. It helps not having to go to skl and face the world, it helps knowing that when someone asks me to go out somewhere I can always say I’m sorry, I’m grounded.’
Last night she attempted suicide. She told me that she loved me and that she would always be with me no matter how far away she seemed. I couldn’t cope. I broke down. Why her? Take me instead. Please just not my angel. She wasn’t successful. I’m not sure what I’m meant to do now. Do I speak to a teacher at skl? Should I try and speak to her gran? I don’t know, but I do know that I’ll never take what I have for granted xxx
