I had this home bookmarked by the owner. I had no clue you guys built this one. I really do like this build. We bought 3 acres in Winona and want to build in 2025. I really hope I am one of the lucky people that you guys would go a little out of the way for.

The window from the kitchen is the same height as the big window door.. but the window in between is about 4 inches lower..
This build has a lot of square sharp edge lines so it makes it more noticeable

Nice house, but one recommendation I would make visually is to use some black trim on the gable end-wall inside as well as the corresponding gable wall at the back of the kitchen to match the steel beam trim. Especially with the black window trim I would feel like it connects everything together. Just food for though.

After looking more into barndos over last couple years, there are builders here that can do these.
Edit, gotta check your county/city regs to be sure it can be built

can you address the sweating issue? many builders here in oklahoma recommend double bubble insulation. Can foam be sprayed directly on the back of the exterior steel? if open cell is used where does the air barrier go and what barrier? Tyvek? Thank you!

What was the cost to build this barndo?
How does a build like this cost? I’m in the middle of the process of trying to decide if I wanna go with a traditional stick built home or a barndo but the quote I was given for 3600 sqft was around 610k. I’m just wonderbig if pricing has changed at all from a year ago and are a little bit more comparable to stick built.

No we don’t. This was outside of our scope.

Texas sized everything, except the fridge. Weird. I think they missed the mark on that.

I own a 2 acres land in McKinney and I want to build a barndominium like this with at least 5k sqft house and 15k sqft shop. Will that be possible?
