I have a 8 year old 914CE with the old bracing. It is phenomenal. If you can hear the difference between X bracing and V bracing on the same model with the same wood, then hats off to your ears.

Hey Joe, Would love to know your thoughts between this guitar and the Builder's Edition K24ce. I keep going back and forth between the two. Get they are different in body size/woods/etc and your personal playing style would matter but would love to hear even just your gut reaction to the question. Thanks.
@@zzcarolinahomegroup3493 went with the K24. It was the Koa that got me in end. Absolutely love it. Plays great, sounds great and looks great. Everyone that sees it comments on how beautiful it is. Even folks that don't know guitar at all say things like that must be a "special" guitar. They don't know why but they can tell.
So for a singer song writer ,primarily fingerstyle solo player should it be this 912ce builder or the K24CE Builder Edition.I am going to buy one of them but don't know which.
912ce builders is my pick. When Taylor comes out with the K26ce builders I may change my mind about which two to pick, but until that time the 912 all the way!

@@rodgereyre6640 I did get 912C and am enjoying it. The K24 in the store looks very beautiful but just didn't sound as good as 912C.
