- The taste of Kuih Koci is similar to Pandan Angku Kuih, both are made by filling pandan glutinous rice dough with sweet grated coconut. Kuih Koci is wrapped with banana leaf while Angku Kuih is printed with "tortoise" pattern using a mould.

Hi, can l freeze the coconut filling to be used at a later time? If so, how long can it be left in the freezer?
I haven't tried before but should be ok.
Tqvm for your reply.
How does adding hot water to the glutinous rice affect the end result of the kuih?
The texture is more chewy, but it should be too hot, just around 70°C, best the take from thermo pot. If the water is too hot, the texture will be too chewy and it will become hard when cooled.
Can you please teach us how to make kuih kochi santan? Thank you so much in advance!
Hi,
I don't have banana leaves.. Could change with baking paper?
Love this kuih but don't know how to make it. Tqvm for sharing ur recipe & tutorial 😊👍
Can we prepare this is advance and steam it next day?
I haven't tried before, should be ok, try keeping refrigerated.
One of my fav , Mouthwatering 😋😋
Thank you for your video, this kuih really many steps, really admire your patient. Follow your recipe the kuih very sedap, but I got mine after put few hours open air cover with the clothes in the cold steam tray, the bottom of my kuih will keras but upper part still chewy. Do u know y? Thank you
May be the hot water you added to the glutinous rice flour is too hot, the kuih will be very chewy and it will become hard when cooled. I use hot water dispensed rom thermos pot, which is about 70°C.
