This presentation has touched me deeply as I tried to modified my parents’ cruel statements and imagined them celebrating my way of being. For example my father instead scolding me for drawing by saying : stop this foolishness, he showed interest in my art and approval of my way of entertaining myself. The hope of changing my narrative moved me to tears of relief… as if I could now step out of imprisonment… I could lay my hands on my art supplies as if I am deserving creating art. Thank you, Sam. ❤

You are a Savior Doctor Sam vaknin!!!! Please come to Africa because statistics you will find will surprise you...narcissism + our culture has rotten our societies..i have broken away because of you and have watched every video of yours,,the healing for me is happening subconsciously. All I have to do is follow you as a determined student...narcissism has rendered my dad's life again at Rock bottom, broke,no friends or his first family(US) narcissism totally damaged our family tree..we use Jesus Christ as a fixer and a healer..ofcourse he led me to you... I discovered you when I had driven my body to death..alcohol,drugs,i wanted to die...soon I should be able to be in Europe as I am pursuing it🙏🙏🙏🙏

Powerfully empathetic and beautiful words. Just what I needed to hear today. Especially about looking to data around you in the world to show you if you are on the right path. 🙏

I've put this on watch later to listen to before I sleep. I'm so emotionally bruised from the same narcissistic family member bullying me and calling people to tell me off, that I wish to heal and move forward somehow.

Someone who knows Hebrew, please explain this word Prof. Vaknin keeps using at the beginning of his videos, “shoshannim” (I think).
I looked it up and it means lilies, is that slang for something? Or just a term of endearment for his viewers? So curious. Thanks 🙏 ❤

Hebrew speaker here; it means roses more than lilies, but it’s a very rarely used word by modern speakers. As for a term of endearment, I’ve never heard someone use it other than Vaknin.
