- Yeah, welllllll, what had happened was............some things are changing!! So we put the body back on real quick before hauling the chassis to powder coating! Plus some other shop update stuff!

Was eating pizza and drinking beer in one of my several KSR Tee Shirts last night. A guy stopped at my table, point to the back of the shirt and asked if I knew anything about Holley EFI. He is putting it on his ‘71 Camero! No I don’t, but we had a great talk. Kevin, you are bring us car people together!

Kevin, make sure and have your lifts inspected one of your Florida fellow RUclipsrs Ray repairs just had his safety cable snap on one of his lifts. Lucky the car didn't fall and he said he almost got hit by the cable when it snapped. Number one rules shop safety first. Keep all digits and limbs.

Hi Kevin, greetings from SA. I am guessing it would be the engine that was in Moulit. Steve dropped some comments in a video about repurchasing it from Cleet since the Eagle will have a Hemi.
Lets see..@9:45 into the vid we can clearly see, over Kevin's right shoulder....SMX engine tabs on the to do list. And now we, that suspected it, are confirmed as to why Steve wanted that engine back from Garret.

Back in the day, we could get learners permits at 14 yo in LA. I have plenty of adventures in the Dart GT between 14yo-16yo! However, I learned to drive in a '64 Dodge Stepside with a 225" Slant 6 with 3 on the tree at our lake camp at probably 12-13 yo. Ole Greenie taught quite a few of my friends to drive on the backroads around Uncertain TX!
I really wish I could help you with a nice huge shop with 8 lifts in it,and loaded to the max with air tool,metal shop,powder coating booths,rooms etc. KSR could be huge

I was going to guess the SMX from Mullet that Steve got back from Cletus....then at about 10:16 into the video it says "SMX ENGINE TABS" on the white board behind you haha.
Still very cool to show the haters that the engine isn't toast, it just needs repair.

Yeah ... next steps for safety as well! It's just a little heavier combination with the floater, so my plan was to get proficient with making some more CF parts, specifically doors if we get to that point to offset any weight gain. We're real heavy being ASAG for LDR weight as it is. I told myself I'd go to a floater once we get past the fun of kicking butt with the Leaf Springs, and go to 4-Link to squeeze some more short time out of her.

Invoice was even wrong saying it was 3.89 from my buddy that was letting me borrow it to see IF the 10" gear would fit the housing before buying one. He'd never installed it, or ran it, so it was a on the shelf unit that was never verified!

Soft ear plugs are great for threaded holes. Little WD -40 etc and they will be clean

Yeah 100% mullets SMX is going into this car that's why the OG big block is going back into mullet and then Cletus sold the SMX back to Steve so it only makes sense that it's going into this car

The 10” gear has the edge machined down to fit the housing. The teeth have more contact area than a standard 9” but the overall size isn’t much bigger. If that makes sense.

So the motor that started in Steve's wagon then Garretts El Camino is coming back to Steve and going in Val's Camaro. That Camaro is going to be very fast when it hits the track

This might be dumb but I have seen a lot of cars where the tires are hard to remove because of clearance. My thought is hook up a vacuum pump and it would take all the air out and collapse the tire which might make it easier to remove.

we have a local track close to where i live. the stands are empty. 90% of the cars are N/T cars and the announcer dont even tell anyone anything about the driver or the cars. makes for a boring night.

Man they make a tool to dimple with in the aviation sheet metal world. They are made like vice grips with special jaws. Would work really well for what u doing there as well. We use them before installing the rivets in wing and fuse sheet metal work
