One of the ways to make these airports viable is probably to encourage more Low-cost airlines to operate flights. Secondly, the government could regulate the fares of the airlines so that travelling by air becomes affordable for the common people, who could then travel more frequently by flights. Thirdly, Public-Private Partnership could become an alternative in which a reputed private company could be given the responsibility to operate and mantain these airports on a revenue-sharing basis.
