If you look at the dimensions of a WK and a JL, they are really close in size. I love my WK, these are more capable than most people think, especially when you throw on a lift and some good tires. Great video, I want to go out to Utah and play around a bit.
@GOTDAMITOFFROAD I have a 2010 with the hemi. Quadradrive 2 also. If you ever want to do an engine upgrade. The 09 eagle heads and a 6.4 stock cam and lifters will surprise you. Decent power upgrade and good insurance. 08 heads have valve seat issues.
@@GOTDAMITOFFROAD Many thanks for the quick response. I drive a GC (WK/WH) from 2008. This tire size would also be my favorite. But do they fit into the wheel arch without dragging somewhere? Have you made any adjustments there? Thank you and have a nice day in your great country.
Yes you will definitely need a lift kit. And will also need to do what is called "the pinch weld mod" it's when you cut some metal in the wheel well and pound it over flat. There are youtube vids about it.
@@GOTDAMITOFFROAD The elevation has already been done. 2” OMR. But I know what you mean. This is usually the only part that can be beaded into the wheel arch. My 255/70 18 is just fine. Thanks for the info.
Yes but the front has been acting up for the last few months. I ended up putting a new elsd activation solenoids in both the front and rear and now it's working better.

Potential injury in your video would be laceration(s), a dismemberment to an amputation. This possible injury event would end your enjoyable day on the trail real quick.
Yes your right. I did take a few steps to the side while it was under tension then when the camera panned back I had ran over to pull the rope up as he drove up the rock. But I probably didn't get far enough away.. thanks!
As an '06 WK owner (but the 4.7 :( ) Can I be 'that guy' and ask what your setup is? lift/spacers etc? I've got an OME MD with 1" spacers on mine running factory wheels and 265/65/17s with no rub unless they bottom out. Also, how do you like those Kenda tires?
It's a OME HD full 2 inch kit with added Rusty's 10mm leveling spacer in the front, which gave it about another inch of lift and added Rusty's 2 inch poly spacers in the rear, but I removed the stock spring isolators in the rear where the spacer goes so I gained about an inch in the rear on top of the 2" OME So about 3 inches total lift. I also threw on some PRO upper control arms for better geometry. Tires are 285/70r17 Kenda Klever R/T KR601 riding on JL Rubicon wheels and running 1.25 inch wheel spacers.
Great video and trail coverage. We need to go wheeling soon.
Thanks brother! Let's do it!
That would be a great collaboration!!!!
That WK is beautiful! The winch install looks very clean, any video about that?
Thanks! No video but I think I still have some pictures of the install. It's a hidden winch kit from Rocky Road Outfitters.

Thanks! Yeah I agree, wk's real close in wheel base to a 4 door wrangler.
Nice trail and rigs! Good thing you ran into a cool guy with a Jeep who joined you.
Thanks! Yeah that was pretty cool dude and sweet wrangler.
Looked like a lot of fun!
It was hella fun! Thanks for commenting 🙂
Cool video. I’ve been across that trail in my razor but not in my jeep!!
Thanks! It's definitely a fun trail.
Nice trail rig. Anyway you could do a walk around video of what all you have done to it?
Thanks! I think I will do a walk around soon, now that I'm finally getting enough sack to talk to the camera lol.

Но wj лучше для бездорожья и качество салона лучше
WK with 5.7 hemi runs circles around WJ in just about every way. WK has way better ride quality and power!
