My cousin and his wife sometimes get in these heated arguments and my cousin will make it worse by arguing in a near perfect Sean Connery voice. It's so funny

"I am not an Englishman, I was never an Englishman, and I don't ever want to be one. I am a Scotsman! I waw Scotsman and I will always be one." -- Sean Connery
I knew Connery as Bond, but better in Hunt for Red October. But you didn’t mention his one Spielberg/Lucas film- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Definitely a supporting role, but, for me anyway, a very memorable one.
He actually got the role of Henry Jones, Sr. because the production and the writers said “who could be Indiana Jones’ father, and one of them said James Bond. So they hired Sean Conery.
Sean Connery played an Egyptian in service to the Spanish crown with a Scottish accent in Highlander, that has to be the weirdest choice ever. Also: Why was Highlander not mentioned in this bio?
For me, as an old soldier, the two best films Sean Connery ever made were The Hill, in which he gave a great performance alongside Harry Andrews, who was a great actor as a Sergeant-Major, bust and imprisoned for cowardice and as Sergeant Daniel Carnahan in The Man who would be King, both were great pieces of acting.
Don't apologize for the suit I think you look great. I hold fond memories of Sean Connery not because of his James Bond appearances but because of his part of Draco, the last dragon for Dragon Heart. Loved that film as a child, and I think it's almost exclusively responsible for my love of fantasy.
I came here to the comments because I was like “Wait, isn’t this a Simon channel?” You did a good job and I’m still a fan of the channel. The suit looks great, adds some class.

Ok. Didn't take long to get over Simon handing over the reins. I mean Simon is a damn treasure, but you've done a very good job. I was waiting for the mention of Connery's big role as Indy's dad in Indiana Jones and The Holy Grail, but it never came. Cheers!

Sean Connery has always been my favourite but have to agree with you on Brosnan. Smooth ..... Now..... Daniel Craig did something spectaular with the role and right now I think is in a league of his own...... Great commentary !
Wow. A Sean Connery bio and not a mention of his role in "Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade," one of his greatest non-Bond roles. It's like talking about Jesus and not mentioning the part when he was resurrected.
You forgot about two movies that he was in, DARBY O'GILL AND THE LITTLE PEOPLE and ZARDOZ. I can't imagine why he took the part in ZARDOZ, maybe he thought that working with John Boorman was a good career move....it really wasn't. DARBY O'GILL, it had the virtue of being a really cute movie.
He's in alot of movies. One of my favorite roles is The Name Of The Rose. I was blown away him playing Sir William of Baskerville. A monk detective. I saw late night Cinemax then rented the vhs and showed a friend of mine. He loved it too. I think I have it on dvd.
It all too bad you didn't mention these other movies that he was in that I really enjoyed his characters Time Bandits in the Highlander very awesome underrated movies thumbs up man you're doing a good job I miss Simon but man you was doing a good job

I had no idea he died back in 2020. Sad, but I guess he wasn't exactly young and lived a good, full life. Definitely the best bond in my eyes. He set the blueprint. Also loved him in most other things I saw him in. That being said, thank god he turned down LOTR. Ian McKellen was the perfect choice and Connery just would not have worked in the role. Regal roles, yes. A Wizard? Fuck no!
I literally have watched every 007 movie Sean Connery definitely is bond. I was very saddened when he passed away in his sleep but everyone has to go at sometime. Anytime, Daniel Craig is my top bond these days due to his film output being higher tier. Daniel Craig’s Casino Royal, Skyfall, & No Time To Die all are fantastic.
