Even Lilith, greed, Kuma are all potential foils to this theme. I am probably the only one in this fandom excited for the follow up of Vegapunk's quote Oda so casually dropped in chapter 1072. This death theme oda decided to explore in Egghead is something I really enjoyed and one of the best thing he has written for me personally so I NEED this. Like that double page spread of Mars questioning what death means is just so intriguing especially when you consider other characters relationships with death, be it Roger, Kaido or hiruluk, the gorosei and potentially Imu. Maybe I am just too much of an Ajin fan, and would like Oda to delve deeper than even Ajin did into that theme.
Until it's disproven, this guy is the one who met with the Gorosei, the silhouette man at the end of 1121. The wrapped figure... is Shanks's hot sister obviously
My bet is on Luffy being confused by the haki, since he already felt Shanks' WiFi Haki in Wano. He even said it felt familiar. This STABS haki could feel sinister and cast a shadow of doubt to Luffy

You know, it doesn't make sense to me why the real Shanks would even come to Elbaph without his crew knowing. Like seriously, does Benn Beckman or Lucky Roo know all about what their captain is doing? We know that Shanks grew up on Rogers crew and i don't understand why would Shanks flip and just become like an evil person. Shanks idolizes Roger and there is no way Shanks will change his mind. He will be a pirate This has to be his twin brother or should i say, i hate to say this but a Shanks clone. Because we have Stussy, the first successful clone and what if this Shanks clone is the second one? I feel like i prefer the Shanks having a brother plot because that makes more sense. And i just feel like we need a good backstory for Shanks. If we just get Shanks meeting Luffy or fighting Blackbeard and that is all we can get from him, it will be disappointing. We need some good storyline for Shanks and i really like that Shanks family/relatives are getting involve in the story
at the risk of under analyzing. i think the new way of the giants is a parallel to have the scandinavian countries that originated the vikings are today the most peaceful countries in the world.
