- I bought 2 new tools for metal working. I bought a Everlast 62i plasma cutter. Which can cut over 1" thick steel. And I bought a hydraulic press brake from swag off road which can bend up to 5/8" steel that is 3" wide. These tools will help when fabricating parts and building projects.

I contacted Everlast. And. I told them. I seen on this channel. Got a fast reply and prices
Planning a small shop next year
New toys are always fun.
Hi..... Evan and Rebecca thanks you for showing your video homestead bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋👍👍👍
That’s really impressive at 1 1/4
Hi how are you doing today I like your cows and calefs and bulls and sheep 🐑 a lot have fun with i like your farm 🚜 a lot
I LOVE YOU GUYS !!!
You are going to really enjoy your new tool addition Evan, it's actually fun to operate. It is really hard on wiring and hoses when you hit them though and also drop big globs of molten metal in pants cuffs and on top of shoes. Have fun with it and keep it working around there. Fred.
Well, Santa was very good to you!🎄😊
Have that plasma cutter, no complaints.
Plasma is a great tool. I use a 105 amp and 200 amp pretty much daily at work
It’s good that you got the 60 amp machine, years ago,I bought a small one and later upgraded to a 80 amp and it has paid for itself by using less consumables. I was constantly changing tips and electrodes on the small one
Wow .. awesome additions which will suit your abilities very well. Wise choices. I'm enjoying your creative camera positioning more and more. You have a talent for editing. 👍👍👍
Evan that's a great investment in both I do like that plasma cutter. Good luck with both😊
Great video as always mate and one great tool you there also all great he best for Christmas and New Year to you all hope it all goes smoothly for you mate.
Some guys might call those (man toys) but for what you do on the farm on repairs and making parts these will be great to have. You will have to show us when you make parts to fix your square baler, etc. Great stuff Evan !
AWESOME TOYS !!
Great additions!
Great update, we all need to play
Win, win? If you where to let me borrow that toolbox/plasma cutter cart it would be a win, win, win.!! 😮
Cool! 🎄X-MAS🎅🏽 Has come early. Enjoy!
SWAG OFFROAD makes some very nice stuff. I purchased a SWAG PORTABAND TABLE - PRO MODEL several years ago and absolutely love it for cutting metal... Plasma cutter is on my wish list.
You will enjoy the plasma cutter a lot. Should be able to run off generator too for in fields use if needed
I ran CNC plasma tables for a little over 15 years. We bought a few new tables over the years, we had a 260 amp table, 2 400 amp tables and an 800 amp, that thing could pierce through 2-1/2" plate and edge cut 3-1/2"! Definitely wear tinted goggles or you'll be flash blinded just like a welder, and that carbon dust will be EVERYWHERE lol. Some days I used to leave that place looking like a coal miner 😂 If you get a CNC someday I can already see the custom firepit, the Country View Acres signs all over the property, tractor badges.. 🤣
Santa visited C.V. Acres early and brought big boy toys. 😅
Enjoy
New subscriber. Enjoy watching your videos
I run the Lincoln plasma with its own built in air supply.
Although I am good with my torches the plasma is so much quicker.
Enjoy your new toy.
Nothing wrong with new tools and learning how to use them. You're going to love them
thx for sharing
New tools YAHOOOOOO 👍👍👍
Nice addition to your tools Evan those new toys are going to make things easier for you thank you for sharing blessings to you and your family
That plasma cutter is awesome that will make things a lot easier for you. The workshop is now the ultimate man cave aha nothing better than new tools to play with
I used to work for Ingersoll Rand back in the 80's. That pump you've got can't be much more than 8 cfm. Rule of thumb is 4 cfm for every hp of electric motor. At least you have plenty of storage capacity.
Great additions to your tool collection. With your abilities I’m sure you will get good value out of them. Enjoy those new ‘toys’ Evan.👍
On the break take smaller peices of angle and put in ur bottom die to give u a tighter radius on thinner metal
Evan my wife bought me a plasma cutter for Christmas last year such a great tool.
Very cool! I'm sure those tools will be very handy in the future. Great video!
Pretty cool. I actually like that you have been in the shop playing, learning and getting familiarity with the new equipment. I had a family member that passed away leave me a mig welder and sadly, I haven't taken the time to read up on the settings, and buy some material to practice on. I really should just for the fun of it and the learning experience so when it is needed I can spend time producing instead of learning.
Fun,fun,fun
Santa came early!?😊
Get you an air dryer/filter for that Plasma, water from compressor plays havok on those electrodes and tips.
Awesome, 😍
These tools look like something you will use. I also think we should rename you "Evan, the Toolman RUclipsr". If I had your talents, strength and of course the right job to supply the funds I would need, I would do the EXACT same thing. I am not trying to be negative, because I think you will use this equipment in many ways. It is neat, cool and fun to see someone accomplish all of the things you two do and when you share it with us, we can vicariously be doing all of the same things. I am so grateful that God gave each one of us the ability to be different. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas.
Evan make sure your running a filter drier to remove moisture from the air. It will extend the life of your plasma cutter consumables.
"In case I get . . ." 🙂 🙂
Everlast is great, I really like the multiprocess welder I upgraded to a couple year ago. Best of the imports imo
Nice video
Looks like someone got an early Christmas present or two! Love to have the plasma cutter myself. Have lots of fun there with your new toys, ha ha! Good luck with them and have a nice week!
That's another reason I bought the leather raps for my boots to protect them and easy to take off.
handy addition to the tools
If you are good at soldering iron for electronics, you will love a TIG welder also... for me TIG is the soldering iron for metal...
Wow, very nice!👍🏻
Christmas came early for you. I hope you told Rebecca not to get you anything! 🇨🇦❤️
You will need one of your drawers for replacement parts for your plasma cutter
Nice. I’m living thru you. I always tell my wife that Evan talked me into it. Hahaha😂
cool
Oh you've done it again Evan, made me groan with envy. I know I'm 80 yrs old and don't have a whole lot of time left. but I could have a lot of fun with that cutter also and that hydraulic press/bender.brake. I've used breaks (used to install siding and used 10ft breaks. ) and I've been eyeballing the Hydraulic press Harbor Freight has but can't justify it for one project and not much time left to play with it. so I'll keep living Vicariously thru you and all your new toys! good going! they will be an assets not just toys (altho they are fun things to play with! ha ha. hope they give you lots of great projects and do all that you want them to do. ECF
Do I see some Milwaukee tools in the background?
Very nice product. I never liked torches. Orstick welders
Please include purchase prices when you buy something.
Down here on earth 🌎 we call it slag.
Can you make a movie hov you make the Press to Air
The SWAG brakes are nice and hard to beat at the price. However I find using it gets a bitty fussy and I think I'd like it better if I built a proper back gauge. The SWAG handles heavy material fine but when working with thinner material you'll need to do something to get tighter bends. They sell a top die but I choose to make shims that I CNC plasma cut and then bent in the brake itself. I've seen the same thing done with drops of angle iron nested together which is essentially the same thing. Watch Wes Work also has a good example of a adjustable bottom die. In the interim I actually stumbled on a really great deal on a D&K Chicago finger brake so I can use that for 12ga or less. I have a Langmuir Pro CNC table with THC and a Hypertherm 65. Its amazing what you can do with one. Good luck!
nice 😀
Not that you need it, but cutting with propane and oxygen cut 6600° and doesn’t leave any slag on the bottom of the cut. It does require a special torch. Oxygen and acetylene cut at 6000°.
I used CO2 gas as a shield for meg welding, even when the wire had a flux core. The nice thing about flux core wire is you can weld rusty metal and it does a great job.
Electricity over air
👏👏
Price. ,does anyone know ???
On sale at the moment for 800US
Boy toys. Lol congrats
Where did you buy the plasma cutter from?
I believe there is a link in the description of the video.
🙂👍
would some one that has around 30 head of mostly small livestock be able to afford all this brand new equipment ? I do not think so , you must have a healthy amount of disposal income to constantly buying all this new stuff all the time ! Please share with us viewers and subscrivers how you do this cause RUclips dont pay that much!
Oh my! So jealous, those tools are awesome. That's a very capable plasma, and I've had great luck with my Everlast welder over the years.
Nice you splurged on a couple of new tools. Know you will find them helpful as you continue to improve the equipment on the homestead. 👍👍👍
So Christmas comes early in the US of A! Have fun and enjoy when using it.🤩
Play away Evan
got my coffee
but doesnt it use a gas too on it
Just air
You could run it off a bottle if you had to. But a clean dry compressed air source is much cheaper.
Now you can make your own fence hinges.
You can never have enough toys er, a, I mean tools! 🤣🛠️
God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸🇮🇱
That’s a neat cutter, very I interesting video.😊
That's really cool Evan 🥃👍🏻
Nice plasma cutter. If you ever are interested in a cnc plasma table, i could help you get started. Would be a fun collaboration between channels too.
Check out this old tony he has a few projects including a welding cart plus the jokes he includes are good clean fun
No playin around Evan..get to work! Lol 😂
Not me here covering my eyes on every video I want to watch when there welding 🤦♀️😎
That's a good machine. With a Crossfire XR, that machine will change your world if you have access to cheap steel. I'm running a Hypertherm 45xp on a Crossfire Pro. It cuts 5/8" all day long. Very good value if you're willing to tinker a little.
класная вещь. я также хочу такую.
Request for video on modifying the bottle jack. Thank you
I work in a shop with about all the tools you can imagine. I found with the brake it makes a big difference what radius dies are installed to get the bend you are looking for vs the thickness of material you are working with. But these are larger hydraulic electrically operated units with a foot control. I like to stay current with oxy-acetylene cutting when time does not matter and the cut does not need to be precise. If time is a factor the Plasma cutter is the go-to for a clean cut and minimal work to clean the cut up to continue on to the next process. Unfortunately I call the oxy-acetylene torches and plasma cutter "community tools" and find that inexperienced users burn up the consumables learning or messing with the settings of the torches or plasma cutter when they struggle and are just not interesting in learning proper procedure's ....
Wow, Evan! Enjoy!
🙏🙏
Very cool tool
Thanks Evan
Cool Tools
SWEET
Hur går det med din kennel som du byggt? Bovarg uppsala Sweden 😊
Hey Evan, quick question, I assume it's 220v but what size breaker does it need to run off of? I looked at the link in the description but didn't find anything on required power input. Thanks
Yes it is 220 volt. It plugs into a 50 amp welding receptacle.
@@CountryViewAcres Thanks. A plasma cutter is next on my list.... need it to fix my dang grapple! 😄Just have to figure out how to get it past the wife first...lol. Thanks again.
Great job Evan! Hello to Rebekah! Always great video! Thank you!
I've never considered calling super heated plasma "cool" before
