About I Dream Of Jeannie: Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman star in this classic ‘60s comedy about a genie and her master. geezus, couldn't they have given Jeannie's mom a more better costume? hers is so cheap & it's so obvious she's wearing a western style dark blue blouse underneath w/ the button cuffs - plus the yellow handkerchief wrapped around her chin tied to the hat is so cheap!!
The fact that barbara eden also played her own mother speaks to how cheap they were they could have found anyone to play that character
That's Columbia. They had actress play her mother during the first season but at that time her mother wasn't a genie. It gave Barbara a great chance to play different characters though.
