The Zlin Z-142 uses Avia M337 (now produced by LOM prague) engine. The engine itself is a aircooled inline inverted 6 cylinder with single stage supercharger. This engine was also used by Z-43 and L-200 Morava.

Nice. A thorough explanation, I liked it. I picked this plane up last week and have had fun with it. I totally agree on the textures, and fun to fly! I made a video of it after I created a custom skin with the paint kit provided. My first skin in X-Plane- and it turned out nice. Appreciate the tip on uncaging the artificial horizon- I was having a difficult time figuring that out.

Funnily enough, the cockpit is not in Czech or Slovak (Czechoslovakian isn't a language at all anyways) but the language you're looking at is Hungarian :)

There actually is a transponder if you go to the menu click the gns430 and you get better radio a Garmin 430 and a transponder

Bill4LE My College Owns 11 of them used for flight training ( currently working on CPL). The ones we have have an AEIO-360 4 Cylinder Horizontally Opposed engine with 200HP. The planes are also outfitted with Garmin GTN650’s and Aspen PFD’s

@Karlo Wagstaffe how realistic is this model zlin 142 in your opinion comparative to real world?
Attitude indicator always caged? Can't find this "voltage" you spoke of. Is it a switch somewhere?
The high-voltage switch is the upper right one. Yeah it's my understanding that it's just to keep the voltage in the system down unless you need it. It's an ODD plane so there might be something else going on there. It also could be related to the aerobatics.
What are you trying to do . When you go to download this file the site tries to get you to allow other files to be stored on your computer???
Works fine for me. Do you have an account with the Xplane forum? Nobody else has had any trouble with it.
