The abortion scenes make me so mad. Like, abortions are way safer than pregnancy and giving birth, and people bleed to death in childbirth way more often than in an abortion. But we should definitely force people to give birth, right?🧐
Actually, those scenes are more likely when a ban on abortion drives them underground. Plus, there have already been lawsuits in Texas bc women that NEEDED abortions for their health bc of a pregnancy that wasn't working out. Also, the Bible is pro-abortion. Not only does Genesis say life begins with breath but in EX, the fetus is man's property, his wife is a life. And in Numbers, there are instructions on how to force a woman to miscarry if she's been cheating on him (,it involves magic rituals so not exactly reliable) but the point is, the Bible doesn't care about abortions so another bit of hypocrisy on their part.

This religion is incredibly traumatizing
Sounds a lot like many religious stuff: entertainment. Grim and dark, like many horror scenarios, but just like movies and other media this might be best to be left to adults. Once again, religion fails...
40:15 sounds like Trump
Sounds like a Christian version of WOKE.
... The Thinking Atheist is using a Christian ad at start of their show - WTF ?????????????
I've just Unsubscribed !
Podcasts have no control over who advertises before, during, or after a program. I still believe it is intentional on the advertisers' part to be placed to "protest" the podcast, they may pay more to be there, but google claims it has to do with the algorithm. For example, I scroll through conspiracy subjects and the advertising consists of survival gear, solar generators, handmade custom knifes and other things that have to do with a paranoid personality.
@@MsJoaniesgarden Maybe they do and maybe they don't, But if Andrews is aware of it - and he should be - this is a bit hypocritical ... There ARE other advertisers they could have used, and if they have NO CONTROL over this, they're being Trolled and need to do something ... I'm STILL gone.
@@bobbart4198 The adverts shown to you are based on an analysis of your viewing preferences, your account settings and your demographic categorisation, not on the content of the channel. You saw a Christian ad, I saw a furniture ad. Can you guess what type of woodworking videos I was watching yesterday evening?
@@RichWoods23 Well, THAT makes absolutely ZERO SENSE - Unless RUclips is trying to piss me off and lose my patronage !
@@bobbart4198Google and the algorithms get weird. I’ve tried to nix the ads, but content creators don’t have much control. Many of us have smirked that religions can waste money here if they choose. They won’t convert anyone.
Had you asked instead of storming out the door, I’d have been glad to clear this up.
Be safe and well.
I went to a hell house in 3rd grade (1990) at the church that hosted my Christian elementary school. 3rd grade! The abortion scene is still vivid in my mind, especially the bloody chicken parts in a bucket 😂 These people are lame and sadistic.
Yes Seth I’m in the UK and in my mind it does sound sick and twisted the society that would behave as such. I spent my first 12 years in California in the suburbs but luckily had no religious upbringing or church going community.
Young Katie sounds like she’s got her head screwed on for still a young woman. And the fact she was 16 at the time they were using her for these stunts obviously teenagers young teenagers especially if they’re already doctrine by their parents are more gullible and more easily lead. Thankfully Katie found her way through this and my hopes are with her that she doesn’t have a horrible relapse Which I keep hearing about people going back to religion or finding religion after being an atheist. I just can’t understand that.
To me as an atheist, they sound like completely twisted f-ks the only people it will affect are believers. It’s a sick form of house of horrors ,and for believers it should really make them realise, and stop believing .The fact that it’s so stupid and sick should be enough to shake that faith out of you.
