"Bronze CORE-ree-DOOR-ass" (!!) - it is a very commonly-kept freshwater tropical fish from South America.

The bronze catfish in fact to match the bronze name and appointments on the pen!

Beautiful pen. A good fit for any submarine or zeppelin captain. On my short list.

My favorite of the Narwhal/Nahvalur offerings. I couldn't find a bad thing to say about the Corydoras. And since i have lately been adding small maker pens to my collection which seem to run $180 and up, I was fine with the steel nib.

I have a Narwhal and like the craftsmanship but I have found that the nibs need breaking in. Maybe it is time to try a new one and this looks nice although I agree it is pricey. Enjoy your channel but please consider getting better lighting. Shadows take away from getting a peek at the pens.

I love this pen design so much I got two! The Nahvalur Nautilus Maylandia Blue (1.1 stub) and the Caldera Sea (F)

I ended up getting the Cephalopod black model earlier this month. It definitely falls in the “pens I like better than I expected” category, which is always a great surprise.

I must say that this model is one of my favorites to work with. Both writing and drawing that magnificent pen. I combine the use of the nib either original or Leonardo 14k in M nib works nice.

One of my most favorite pens in my hand, just love the feel of writing with it-and yes, I have more than one 😁

Well reviewed. I've had the Bronze Corydoras for a year or so, and enjoyed it for the Jules Verne vibe, its engineering, and its writing qualities. I generally ink it with Pilot Iroshizuku Shin-kai, which seems thematically appropriate, as well as a good color match. I have the nib, but if I want a broader line, I just swap in the completely compatible Asvine I have on their P-20. I think I like this pen well enough that, if Asvine came out with a gold nib at a better price than the Nahvalur gold nib, I'd get one for it.

Wet as it is “nautically themed”. Love the humour 😅

I have two Nautili, this one and the Cephalopod Black. They both had fine nibs that seemed more like western mediums. The Cephalopod I had ground into a cursive italic and now I love using it.

I have this model of the Nautilus. I believe it was the first pen to be released in this series.
Nice weight and girth. My nib was scratchy and Nahvalur replaced it no charge. It them wrote extremely well. Really a nice pen but the portholes ink windows are not great for viewing ink levels.

Got a Bronze Corydoras and it's one of my favorite pens. Love how the ebonite feels in hand. Upgraded mine with one of Nahvalur's inhouse gold nibs. Surprisingly I find their steel nibs to be just a touch springier than their gold nibs. Its not a bad writing experience, just a bit surprising: probably the hardest gold nib I have.

I've been looking at this pen. The clip felt a bit fragile and in two pens it wasn't straight on the pen. It seemed it wasa bit skewed on yours as well...
    Did I see it right?
    Anyone else with their experience?

The clip doesn't feel fragile to me, but you are right that the clip does not align very well to the pen. I've seen that mentioned in another review, too. Definitely a noticeable imperfection but I'm so pleased with the rest of the pen's characteristics that I'm willing to overlook it. I hope Nahvalur works out that detail in the future.

@@augustip Thank you. This would be a deal breaker for me

@@ArjanD78 Understandable! Maybe another Nahvalur model would be right for you. I haven't tried any others yet but there do seem to be some reviews out that you might find helpful.
