The first musical score that is shown says "This plays the same upright and inverted upside down". So at least the first one is not supposed to be played backwards (the right side up), but inverted and read as if it was a normal notation. Not sure about the 3/4 one.
One time when I was younger I accidentally did a basic stewarding course (don't ask) and one of the things we had to learn before our final 'practical test' was how to do 3 different types of those napkin folding designs. We did the one on the front of the manual (it's actually pretty easy once you get the knack of it), and the flower one from the top right corner of the back of the manual. The other one we did isn't there I don't think. There was actually a lot more to learn than I thought, at first I didn't think you could get 7 full days out of setting up tables and stuff lol.
i love that no matter what's happening in the world, we always have your videos to keep us sane, and i thank you for that
@@PotatoeSnowIrving Finkel is also amazing to listen to, he's on RUclips.
He won't be here forever
@@crelos3549nor will we, or anyone else for that matter. Doesn't diminish the value.
5:25 "Imagine the clouds dripping. Dig a hole in your garden to put them in."
This feels like when one of your friends really wants to show you something.
tim seems like a nice guy! best qualitys:
1. Always cheerful!
2. Great videos!
3. Awesome things to show!
4. Water from the Nile
The guy from the first book is the Slow Mo Guys’ grandad 🤯
The piece at 6:42 is mirrored (maybe rotated is a better word) along the middle such that it stays the same if turned upside down.
I love when Tim shows us his books 📚 collections.
The only museum I want to visit is one for which Tim is the curator.
Tim, you make people happy in a strange world ❤
It's nice to see that Tim is still around despite the obvious passing of Time laving its marks.
I always appreciate Tim’s technical way of describing objects. He makes my vocabulary much better!
I used to love books like these, my mum had one on cakes and face painting. Books were so important before the internets.
Still are important don't be daft
@@jonpendragon2066 yeah but now I see several novelty cakes a day, it was the only chance for exposure to lots of things
I love books like this! Thanks for sharing, and have a great day uncle Tim!

I would love to spend a day looking through Tim's book collection. Would be very interesting.
I always feel comfortable and something familiar every time I watch these videos. No matter where I'm at.

Goedel Escher Bach has some examples of palindromic music. Both forwards and backwards, and flipped vertically.
Finally, a channel that only uploads happy, peaceful, and interesting videos
So sweet that Tim songs in a choir
I recently remembered about this channel and oh boy i like im home
I remember that apple photograph from my old science text books
Tim is a Time Lord showing the wonders and novelties of the past and present.
Thank you for sharing Tim 🙂
I always watch you when taking a dump
I think lightning is about to strike
I love Tim but I don't typically find him funny. That last story about the music, though, was hilarious!
Happy Halloween, Tim!
I think Tim would enjoy a book of Bev Doolittle's artwork.
So early, wow
Great video, as always
Awesome stuff Tim!
Amazing
Awesome
I used to watch you when I was little
I still do
Tim's a page-turner
I wouldn't mind Tim turning MY page, if you know what I mean 😉
We’re sad to see you go Tim!
Holy what’s happening no wait
What do you mean? He posted a video 1 day ago.
Oh, Tim! There are better ways to mark your place in a book than using a paperclip. Perhaps you could start a new collection.
Grandy Nice 📖
wait.. why you look younger every year :D?
is it an illusion too?
Tim turns over a new leaf, or is it Tim turns over an old leaf.
