  • We hit the range with the new BLADE from Swampfox optics.
    Blade is the mission-driven 1x prism scope dedicated for home defense and law enforcement. Blade’s revolutionary Bullet Rise Compensating reticle compensates for optic height over bore at just 5, 10, and 15 yards when mounted on an AR-15. Available with red or green illumination, Blade’s etched reticle appears black when illumination is off. Shake 'N Wake motion-sensing auto on/off saves battery life and is perfect for home defense. Blade is an excellent choice for shooters with astigmatism who have issues with dot sights. When you need speed and precision at in-your-face distances, trust the Blade.

    I like that you explained your mistakes instead of editing them out. Big plus in my book. Thanx for the review.

    SwampFox was out of South Carolina! He was a big part of South Carolina's history. He actually trained and learned from the Native Americans in the Region.

    I have both the Swampfox Blade 1X and Trihawk 3X. Best low magnification optics I've ever tried. I have nearsightedness and astigmatism and even the Blade is night and day compared to a red dot for me. At 25 yards out it starts getting blurry without my glasses, but because the Blade is a true 1X scope it clears up all the fuzziness caused by my vision at 25 yards out. The Trihawk is absolutely amazing! It's on my LMT and 100 yard precision shots are easy with it. Swampfox is my new favorite optic company. Can't wait to try one of their LPVO's next.

    • @dixy2k
      @dixy2k 4 года назад +1

      From Swampfox website: "Bullet paths have very little chance to diverge due to velocity or ballistic coefficient differences at just 5 to 15 yards, so a .22lr point of impact is nearly identical to 9mm or 7.62x39."

    Do you have your SBA3 brace folded in at the bottom there?

    • @GunStuffTV
      @GunStuffTV  4 года назад

      Yes. I keep mine rolled in like that so its smaller and doesn’t catch on things as easily, it doesnt prevent it from bing used as an arm brace.

    Is it parallax free like a red dot? Also does it have scope shadow at odd angles or does it look similar to a tube red dot like an aimpoint?

    • @stburr91
      @stburr91 4 года назад

      Yes, you will see scope shadow with all prism scopes if you look through them at odd angles. 1x prism scopes have generous eyes boxes, so as long as you get a decent cheek weld, scope shadow won't be a problem.
