Just a suggestion, I listen to the show while I'm driving, and It'll be really helpful if you guys can state the score and what match you're about to talk about because I can't look at the graphic while I'm driving. I have to figure out myself what match is being discussed. I like listening to the show as a full recap of the week, so it'll be a really nice quality of life change.
I know this isn’t much, but if you have voice commands enabled on your device, you can always ask siri or the google assistant to give it to you on the fly! It will pause the podcast and state the score out loud. This should improve QOL in the mean time ☺️
If Salah stays for four more seasons, he could end up with the most goals and third-most assists in Premier League history. He's not just a goalscorer, but also an incredible playmaker-literally a GOAT contender. He could surpass Henry, let alone Gerrard. It’s unlucky that Liverpool missed out on three more titles, losing to City by just a point. Now, Haaland is getting in the way of his Golden Boot record too. But if Salah can beat Alan Shearer's goal record as a winger and win a couple more major trophies, he could still be the GOAT. A 3+1 contract to keep him until he’s 36 would keep him hungry for trophies and the ultimate record.
If he stays for another 4 years he will definitely get top three just can't see him catching shearer though he had 14 years in the prem and there where 4 more games a season back then. He is without a doubt a premier league legend though. Even if he goes this year.
If Salah stays in the prem for 10 more seasons I'd absolutely back him to score 10 a season. I know he'd be 42 but genuinely think he's that good. Could pay an elder statesmen role for an Aston Villa & just score pens like honestlyyyyy
He never said our defence is weak, just the lack of options compared to mid and attack. One injury to the CBs (especially VVD) and we will find it a lot harder, but long may this run continue! 💪

When they were talking about co-comm refs and the nonsense reasons they are there, all I can think about is Mark Clattenburg in the Liverpool v Leverkuson match the other day where he said Cody Gakpo's goal was correctly ruled out offside when it was visibly onside in the replay. What a muppet.

I saw a stat about nunez showing the amount we score with him in and out of the team, i think on average we score a goal more every time he plays over jota or gakpo down the middle, now he doesn’t score as many as jota but other than scoring jota doesn’t do much (sounds stupid i know) but nunez scores less yet the team scores more whether that’s from his movement or his press which forces people to give the ball away, he gets a lot of assists aswell because his finishing isn’t consistent so often if he can pass he’ll pass to someone else and they’ll score
Good Podcasts guys, with respect to VAR does anyone remember any incident where an on pitch referee is asked to go the the monitor to recheck a decision and he maintains his on pitch decision? Why does it necessarily need to be overturned if in some cases the margins are so slim? It seems to me that any VAR asking the ref to check means automatic reversal.
We had a rare lucky one the other week with Stones last minute winner against Wolves. Went to VAR for a potential offside on Bernardo who didn’t touch the ball but may have been distracting the keeper. It was a load of nothing in the end, nothing compared to what Ben White does every corner with no issues so glad the on pitch decision was kept up.
@@HJKR999 In the premier league, it has only happened twice up till now. Of all the times VAR has asked the ref to come to screen, just twice! Imagine.
The only one I remember was when Onana (United's keeper) clattered into a Wolves player in the box, beginning of last season. Ref said play on, VAR got involved, ref checked the monitor and still said no.
I wasn’t convinced on Salah. Thought it was too good to be true the numbers in his first season. But he’s been unbelievable for years now he’s got to be a premier league great and close to the all time 11. People will just hate to admit it.

How can it be that he’s injured due to too many games when the season has only just begun? Surely the arguement is that the fatigue over time wears the body out. Hundreds of players across the world have played the same amount of games as him since the start of the season.

City going through what Liverpool did in 20/21 where the player their invincible system is built on gets an ACL & they cannot play the same way. the difference is lfc then lost all their senior CBs and signed no credible replacements whereas City will spend in january

Since we've seen how Liverpool have played since Slots arrival how he only changed simple but effective things only after first few games I've thought they'll be city's main rivals if anything they've got better at winning by being tighter, It's there's to go on and win now?? And all this coming from a longtime utd fan but a football fan and call it as it is as much as I want utd back challenging....

I think the fundamental lesson of the past few decades of the of the premier league is - If David Moyes is your manager - keep him! x
City going through what Liverpool did in 20/21 where the player their invincible system is built on gets an ACL & they cannot play the same way. the difference is lfc then lost all their senior CBs and signed no credible replacements whereas City will spend in january
Micah's fantasy recap should become a regular scheduled section 😂
it's how Badiel and Skinner started, though they soon dropped any pretence of featuring on the fantasy game, despite the title
This seasons there is two teams fans underrated and disrespect them liverpool and chelsea both are consistent and doing great due to their history and mentality don't sleep on them specially chelsea with their depth and a very good coach
Liverpool is always a contender no news
Slightly annoying to get about ten seconds of discussion of Ipswich's first win
Would have thought there would be some chat about Leif Davis as a potential England LWB
If city get relegated off the back of the charges, watch Micah become and Arsenal ambassador
Loving the dark knight tumbler micha!
eh...they talk more about man city instead of talking much about Brighton.
I think this is the 4th time Gary has given the 'keep your eyes open when heading a ball' tip now!
It's a shame for us that Shearer will retire at the end of this season. He's still our golden boy. Thank you to him.
LOL
In the next episode I would like to hear you guys discussing the brilliance of Omar Marmoush. We need this guy in the Premier League.
liverpool sure do have another gear or two .... salah is in form, diaz is in form, Nunez is NOT, Gakpo is 50% there, ..midfield is getting better and better...defense is getting better and better, robertson slowly finding his feet back ... arnold getting some CLASS tactic coaching, squad in general is looking really REALLY strong.
The number of clean sheets they have kept is astonishing. Only 1 goal conceded after 4 matches in the CL.
thanks pal. i hope you guys get the glazers out of your club soon, its less fun without you competing
@MattMajcan That's exactly pal, Makes lot more fun and interesting, my forst 2 utd games were utd Liverpool think 87/88 ur lot won at Old Trafford 0-2 then 3-3 Annfield I was 11 never forget atmosphere to this I still remember the abuse funny, But 80s ur decade 90s ours but we loved the rivalry with you whatever era you know what I mean. Anyway bit of luck Amorim might be our guy🙏🇮🇪
Ruud has said 3-4 times he wants to stay and happy to be part of the staff
Yet every English pundit that ever exists says he’s gonna wanna be number 1. Trying to make drama where there isn’t any
U sound angry
Thank you for that, brother.
These media folks like starting something when there's nothing there.
i’ve never understood why united fans treat their own club like an absolute circus and then turn round and expect the rest of us not to do the same 😂
As a longtime utd fan and as much as we love Rudd as a player and now how he's stepped up in the dugout, But I do think he's a number one and he would be a hindrance looking over Amorims shoulder I do think he's best off leaving Amorim to it give him total clean slate? I'm in no way on the media's side I've even thought this when ten hag was there. Clean slate and hopefully Rudd won't be needed back in the not to distant future 🙏
@franklyyourewrong2803
Heheheheh
second week in a row Fulham aren’t on here? do we not count as a premier league team?
Noooo Gary u can’t leave MOTD that is some BS , it won’t ever be the same
Kudos to Micah for the Batman Tumbler 👏👏👏
I’d love my team to be in a mini crisis after the several years have had to then probably win another title
Liverpool running off over the horizon...When they win the league I hope Slot credits Klopp....It is going to be Klopps title ( Its his team really ) Slot is a good boss - this much is evident.
He should thank Klopp for the team he left behind, but no way is that Klopp’s title. This Slot team is playing differently and it is awesome!
That's unfair on Slot. If they had been doing badly, everyone would be saying he's no Klopp. He's done brilliantly. Liverpool will beat City and after that it's a coast to the title
just in from a night out, whats another Guiness between friends?? great stuff. Love this channel and the guys so much, you give us all such a boost and laugh. Legends. AMORIM!!!!
Great weekend for United - Seemingly all doom and gloom but Amorim starting today and we're literally only 4 points behind Arsenal and Chelsea in 3rd & 4th so plenty to be optimistic about for after the international break! 😎
You’re wrong! Pep lost 4 in a row at Bayern München too
You may need to review your homework lad
@ Pep once lost 4 in a row in all comps at Bayern, 1 was the German Cup, 1 was in the Champions League & 2 were in the Bundesliga. They were FOUR consecutive games… I’ve done my homework, you might wanna do your’s, lad!
I haven’t done any homework
@@TheoTMasonThompson It's a technically. The "loss" was a penalty shootout but records only go by the match result, which was a 1-1 draw.
Very curious if we will be discussing the Coote video & implications of what was said, love the pod gents
Everyone gushes for salah, hes not underrated. Everyone knows hes a legend.
Dont get why people say it, im a chelsea fan and the guy it insane
Micah loves the expression "at times"
Spurs fans are so fickle & faithless, they lose a game & they want the manager out more or less after every defeat
10:40 You never get through injuries, they can happen at any point.
Arteta crying again about an injury crisis while the team at the top are now missing Trent, Jota Allison and Chiesa. Excuse Fc they need to be referred to from now on.
Plus Elliott
Good show
Bruno always preforms when a new manager is due, or it's contract time.
Bruno always performs, top 3 most creative player in the PL since he arrived.
Ur confusing him with Rashford.
No, Bruno always preform against Leicester 🤣🤣
@@Miirzonii Look what he was like before ETH got sacked.
@@FiremanSimondidn't he want subbed when Liverpool thrashed them 7-0. 😂🤦
Worst captain in the history of the Premier league
It’s not a mini crisis they are fkd without rodri
One man team, and it's not Haaland
Regarding Salah, interesting that he's called a 'great' but also that he's 'underrated'😅
Can we all chip in and buy Alan a new camera setup 😂 horrible quality ,but am amazing podcast ,great job guys
Love these videos, but why Shearer’s video quality always so poor in comparison?
One critique, Brighton won lthe game and you spoke more on Mancity. Respect the winner
Thos 2 decisions against Saints were absolutely appauling! As if its not hard enough when yr fighting relegation #awfulrefs
I can't believe you still haven't talked about *that* foul on Salah when he was in on goal, just before Nunez scored. Particularly relevant when the ref, David Coote, was suspended today for a video revealing his anti-Liverpool bias.
Love ya gaz
Correction: Guardiola lost 4 times in a row at BM
One was a draw after 90 minutes so doesn't technically count as a loss
I only got around to watching match of the day today. Funny watch knowing micah had a rip under his arm 😂
