I've heard some public speakers put their hands in their pocket to combat nervousness , I've heard some say their hands shake _ pockets help

I love Greg Laurie and his sermons but when he makes jokes at the expense of those who are athiest or other beliefs, I feel that it’s not only unloving but disrespectful and they feel this also…and Greg Laurie isn’t the only preacher to do this…Jesus did not mock and make jokes but would say “hey this is wrong because…., let me teach you why your beliefs are incorrect…let me tell you truth and if you believe in me and what I say, I’ll help you,” Jesus wouldn’t make jokes and mockery about their beliefs and then try to tell them truth after they’ve been insulted…..these folks are not the Pharisees, they are lost, they are disillusioned and they need love, truth and to be respected and listened to and to be taught truth in a kind and respectful manner.
You said it yourself. Even Atheism is a religion. All religions have their own pharisees. Jesus was never content with the blind leading the blind. He wanted all persons to wake up, especially them. Sometimes they needed a sharpness, sometimes they just needed a hug, only God knows what His followers need.
Greg is providing a sharp wake up slap, as well as a hug. I'd say he does pretty dern well.
Pastor Greg uses parables just like Jesus did
Some of his jokes keep me interested, some examples he uses I say "I've heard that before " or "that used to be me ". I believe he's preaching what he believes God is. Not sure if he intends to disrespect anyone- I missed that intention in his messages.
I think it is misleading saying in the header: "2 days ago" when in actuality this was preached FIFTEEN YRS ago. FACT: Greg & Cathe got married in 1974- 50 yrs ago while Greg states in video: "married 35 yrs"
Honestly a lot of times we believe everything a pastors says in all their sermons, but have you ever asked yourself what if he is wrong about some of the things he says in his sermon! What does it mean for you? And your loved ones?
If you listen carefully to his sermons you will find errors. If you ask like what then you prove my pint ur not paying good attention to what he is saying in not only this sermon but all his sermons. I just feel to warn many of you, it’s a scary thing to stand before God one day and say but , but the pastor said this and that. Every pastor from different denomination believe they are right. Beware!
