    How on earth do these players manage to return serves like that?! Big serve, wide, Novak at full stretch, and he gets that power and accuracy on the shot.

      If you play tennis 🎾 you would know that the server was standing wide so the angle was predictable and Djoker just blocked back without any change of direction so it’s not that difficult of a return

    • @michaelfoley906
      @michaelfoley906 11 месяцев назад +5

      @@Vajra1021for someone who 'plays tennis' and obviously likes to make out they know it all, then I'm surprised you dismissed that shot as a simple blocked return. Anyone with eyes can watch the clip and see that it absolutely isn't a 'blocked' return, it is a strong forehand with pace, depth and accuracy.

    Popyrin had his chances but just couldn't capitalize. Especially serving first in the 3rd set having 3 set points on the Djokovic serve at 4-5 0-40. When the Djoker saved all three set points and took that set it was all done and dusted. On the flip side if Popyrin had taken the third set it might have been a thrilling 5 setter.

    What’s weird about the AO is that in the highlights, they almost always show as many if not more “highlights” of the other player than Novak whenever he’s playing. Even when he wins, the highlight videos will be FULL of random points where Novak is hitting the ball into the net or making unforced errors. For example, the last highlight video of him vs Popyrin doesn’t even show him saving countless break points, but instead shows him randomly hitting the ball into the net at 40-0 match points (that he converted the next point anyways). It’s totally bizarre…
