Just ordered a pair of these yesterday based on the reviews and the ease of use. My inexpensive option vs. a go pro. Will probably just use these for driving or walking my doggos! Good review!
How do you set the time and date? I played around with the settings file however after I unplug it from the computer and plug it back in the settings all go back to factory. Thanks.
The best answer I can offer is the same I did for another commenter, hope it helps. According to the Questions and Answers from Amazon... Q: I can't set the date and time on my glasses, help A: You can find some simple instructions for this, in the folder Backup\Time and Video Setting on the sunglasses themselves. - You need to use the cable that came with the glasses (the plug portion is often too short to connect properly on regular cables). - Copy or create a file called init.txt in the root folder of the glasses. The file needs to have the following content: 2017-01-01 12:01:00 Y [Date Time Watermark{Y/N}] 1080 [Videosize{1080/720/480}] N [Format{Y/N}] - Turn on your glasses. Thanks for the review. Cops record everything, but it doesn't show them. Thus, I've ordered the 4k ultra with 128 GB after watching your video. I love the fact that extra lenses are available. My wife is looking forward to kayaking with them and I'm looking forward to being able to document any altercation that may result in my having to exercise my 2A rights wherever we go.
Thanks for watching and taking a moment to comment. It'd be interesting to see how well the 4K version works, for what they are the 1080P looked pretty good.
Have you already received and tested them? Could you please upload a sample video that you shot while walking, in 4K? It doesn't have to be very long, 30 seconds will be enough, I guess. I want to buy 4k version too and I am very curious about the video quality.
It's been a while now so forgive me if I don't recall but the Amazon listing states 60 minutes so unless they changed them since then that might still be the case. Q&A from Amazon: Question: How much continuous video recording will these do? 10 minutes or 1 hour segments? Answer: 1 hour of 1080p video. By Roge213 on December 21, 2019 10 Minutes per segment of video and the battery can reccord one hour.. By OhO SELLER on December 21, 2019 It records in segments up to an hour of continuing recording before the battery dies out. By Roberto Mercado on December 20, 2019
Have you had problems with them connecting to your computer? I was able to do it last week but now neither of my computers can recognize the device. It does indicate it's charging when I plug them into the computer but I can't recognize that there's a device there.
In checking into other reviews it seems this is a seemingly common problem which I hadn't observed but it might mean they're no longer functional since the memory is not removable. I think one of my friends might have taken these to use them, don't really recall honestly though. Makes me think to have the type with the MicroSD card may end up being a better option since at the very least you can get the last recording off of them if they were to cease to function. Maybe shoot an email out to support, if not I do hope you can get a refund or replacement under warranty, good luck whatever route you end up taking Dan.

Would the OhO fit over your prescription eye glasses? I wear Rx glasses and am blind without it, but want to video my fishing outings. I thought about a GoPro, but I don't want something that big and bulky on my forehead or in my way on my chest. These cam sun glasses seem like the perfect solution, but only if it fits over my current eye glasses. And no, I can't wear contact lenses because of my astigmatism, along with photophobia (eye sensitivity to light). I also currently use Cocoon wraparound sunglasses over my sunglasses. Thanks for making the video.
Thanks for watching the video. To answer your question simply... no, sadly these do not work well with prescription glasses. They'd barely fit over smallish glasses and they'd sit really far down your nose, uncomfortable and likely they'd fall off often if they stayed at all.
OhO says that you can have prescription lenses made to fit their glasses. I switch to contact lenses when I want to shoot kayaking or birding video with my OhO Video Sunglasses.
Thanks, for being sunglasses the video itself is actually better than most would probably expect. I'd definitely say at this price point though it makes people expect a lot yet it is still more of a fun occasional toy-like item rather than a daily vlog (or more) camera option.
