A couple of issues with those 'Riese Moto' tyres 1. Even the 100 section or the 110 section tyres are basically designed to be 'Rear tyre' even though that's the size of 650s front. 2.Since these tyres are 'P-rated', hence the high speed performance is limited to 150kmph. You anyways might never intend to do such speeds on your Inty, in which case this isn't really an issue.
I purchased interceptor 650 alloy wheel wala version recently I guess its called Barcelona Blue and Its been one month that I have not faced any wobble issue with it. I remember the last time I filled the air I mean got checked the tyre pressure was after one week of getting the bike and I got my bike on 1 August😍😊 and I hope I dont get wobble issue as I have seen some videos related to it and I when got to know about this from my friends.
@@ashinterceptor good to know 👍, it's high time RE should solve this, after visiting a couple of RE service station in my city, i found out that mechanics/ technical staff didn't even know there is something like torque gun and every fastener on a bike should be tightened to a specific tightening torque. A over or under tightened joint means it will go rogue at a particular natural frequency and speed, in your case it turns out to be 90kmph
@@harshjivani Very true bro. They know nothing. My fork has a khat khat sound since the beginning and the SS say it is normal because this bike has a floating caliper 😆
I’m using the reise tourR on my inty. Handles beautifully. Excellent cornering abilities and great grip on tarmac and flat tracks. Decent wet grip. I had also swapped out the spokes for the RE alloys so I’m running full tubeless setup. The alloys look good on my blue. Also, I’m using the same liquimoly oil that you mentioned. That + the liquimoly engine shooter + bmc/aew makes the bikes so sweet to ride!
I will be going for reise moto too. I don’t really ride faster than 100kmph, occasionally touching 120 kmph but that is it. I don’t want to spend 30k or 50k on tyres. 😭
@@SrinivasGanesh yep. There are better options out there including the Vredesteins, but the Reise TourR are complete VFM. You can push these pretty hard on corners in the dry. Just be careful on wet roads.
Get the Vredestein Centauro ST tyres. They are the best pair out there for twins. I got them installed 2 weeks ago and wobbling issue is totally gone. No dis balance while crossing over white lines. Excellent dry and wet grip. And this is with spoke wheels without tubeless conversion. Wonder what result it would be with alloy wheels.
Int comes with 10W40, and that is what I have seen service centre people use. Well atleast in my case they used it, till there were no more free service available. It is good to know that they recommend 10W50!
Changed the fuel filter under the tank a few weeks ago when I had it off to do the tappets. It says to change the filter at 25,000 km in the service manual, But I have to admit the old one still looked pretty clean.
Thank you. I will look into that too! Right now the choice that I have in mind is reise moto. Tour R. And I know those are not high speed tyres but I don’t ride at speeds above 120kmph anyway so that is not a deal breaker for me. :)
Yes, someone did mention the same in the comments. However I remember getting 10W40 in one of the services back in 2021, hence I said. You are right though.
@@SrinivasGanesh I see. Actually I also own an interceptor 650. And I use the 10W50 RE engine oil. That's why got a little bit confused about the grade you mentioned. 😅😅

Hi Srinivas. I’ve done 19.5K Km on my Interceptor Black Ray in 11 months. I am considering some premium engine oil other than the regular RE one for the upcoming 20K Km service. I understand that the RE one is fully synthetic as well (10w50) and not sure if the something else like motul or liquimoly are going to fetch any significant benefits for the premium price. Could you please weigh in?

In newer models with alloys, wobble has been resolved completely
@@harshjivaninot really. I have the Barcelona Blue and it has a wobble at 90kmph. Anywhere above or below the wobble disappears.
