Sabaton got a Polish citizenship as a thank you and in the same concert all those 500-750k people started singing the national anthem too.

This is from 2012, after the band split up. Joakim Broden, the singer, and Par Sundstrum, the bassplayer, are actyally the only original members who are still in the band. And since Joakim wrote all the music and he and Par wrote the lyrics, there wasn't a change in the sound. They fought tooth and nail to keep the band going, so Chris Rorland, the dark haired guitar player who is still in the band, Thobbe Englund, the blond guitar player and Robban Back the drummer joined them. Robban left the band and Snowy Shaw replaced him for a while, before Hannes came in. Then Thobbe also left and Tommy came in. Greetings from Belgium🤘
I think I know why they change members so often because I've experienced it myself. It's often hard work, no artistic freedom and poorly paid. I was recently offered to play at a festival - without pay. No thanks, and I hope young musicians think the same.

A crowd of 550,000 to 600,000 fans singing this performance still gives me goosebumps
and some say there were as many as 750,000 there!
The youngest children who fought in the uprising were Jerzy Grzelak (he added 3 years to his actual age - 9, so he could participate; he died in 2018) and Witold Modelski (not quite 12 years old; he died while fighting in 1944).

Warszawo Walcz (Warsaw Fight) is in the Vocative case, which means he’s giving the city itself a personal, intimate, almost human identity. Think of it like he’s speaking to THE VERY SOUL OF WARSAW.

I learned from my grandparents (both sides) because my mom and dad never bothered to learn Polish, so for the cases, which cases go with certain prepositions, etc, I studied a lot on my own. I still remember my grandma would do a little laugh and say, “you sound like such an American.” But I really appreciate what you said, Marek from England, that means a lot from a native speaker. Was the wildest Concert of my life.
It started the 1st of August 1944

At this gig the drummer was Robban Bäck who replaced Daniel Mullback who was the drummer since 2001. Hannes joined Sabaton in late 2013. Tommy joined in 2016.

Most was explained by Connydely so dont need to get into all, me and my son went to a maiden concert at 2013 and Sabaton asked if they could be opening for them, they already had an opening band so this show we got 2 bands opening. The drummer Robban had a child around 2013-2015 so he left the band, why he didnt came back i dont know, he was deff good enough to play, might have been family stuff. But the show, when Joakim shouts Warzavo Waltz or how its spelled, meens Warzava fights, the croud just shouts so louds. The video version of this song have parts from a movie about this topic and in it the German commander, played by Peter Stormare, sets a model of the city on fire on his office, wich must be about the city almost enirely destroyed.

Tobbe Enlund quit in the sabaton Replacement was Tommy Johansson. 2024 and now Tommy Johansson quits and Tobbe Enlund comes back. Hannes Vandal Started in 2013. There they matt Floore Jensen and Hannes Vandal on USA Tour.

This is why Poland sees Ukraine as a sister country right now in the current Ukraine-Russian war. The betrayal by the germans and the soviets made them determined Russia will NOT repeat history. The Warsaw Uprising was an act of hope betrayed and desperation which Sabaton has portayed so well.
