My experiences with Consumer Reports is it replete with biases; product placements and product hit pieces.

The fact that Techlore pushed these services without any research to back up their effectiveness is what gets me. And now he's trying to get ahead with damage control for his channel. Sad thing is, this wouldn't be the first time Techlore recommended something before it was properly tested and vetted.

Daft question - If they remove me from all the lists in the first month, is there a benefit for signing up for the whole year?

It takes a bit. I’d give it a year
