This is probably not a once in a generation. Texas got hit, now northern Florida. This shows a trend. The cold is reaching for the south! It might not be every year but I expect this to keep going!
@Thaddeus-ml8if i can see your point, and it valid. All I'm saying is I'm not waiting to get caught with my pants on my ankle. Next winter I will have a battery pack in my closet and 2 heated Blankets right next to my hurricane emergency supplies. And if the cold does not reach for the south again ( I'm talking from coast to coast) I'll sell that stuff at a loss. But that's how they get you they call it a once in a Lifetime event or a once in a century . The ppl predicting the weather can accurately predict up to 2 days ahead, for 3 days at 75%, and so on. You can't tell me nobody at some point told somebody high enough up the ladder : Sir , it's gonna snow .
@jenscheibner792 I'm not educated enough in world weather to declare global warming. But what if can tell you is them houses we're not built for this kind of weather. Right now, after the exitement of snow, ppl thinking about how to stay warm and hope no water pipes burst in their homes from freezing over. But right now, nobody is thinking about some damp corner of their home where the heater is making your walls sweat and creating a perfect environment for mold. And 6 months from now, you get a notice on your door from a city inspector that they are tearing down your apartment complex because mold have rooted itself deep in all the ground floor. So instead of the fire and ash of the west coast, we're getting Snow and Mold.
If your car gets stuck, make sure your front tires/wheels are straight when you get pushed or pulled out. Use your gas pedal lightly and don't slam on your breaks. Ease to a stop by taking your foot off the gas well ahead of the stop itself. Stay safe everyone.❤🇨🇦
This shouldn’t be considered a natural disaster. Freezing rain turned out to be not a big issue with this storm. Not too many people had power outages. Some did but not nearly as much as expected. The only negative impact seems to be closed businesses and halted transportation for a couple of days. The only fatalities were a few people who didn’t heed the warnings to stay off the roads. This should be considered more of a historical event than any type of natural disaster.

Most of the rest of the Usa gets these snowstorms multiple times a year. Surprise your turn gulf coast states. I suggest turning some of your existing city/state trucks into plow trucks and salters/sanders vs just shutting down the entire affected area(s) until the snow melts
@tonymnQuan Tug Hill area of New York State just got 3 to 4 feet of lake effect the last 2 days. Brings the total season snowfall to around 120 to 140 inches of snow so far. Tug Hill is located east of lake Ontario.
How many people in FL have lived where it snows and know how to drive in it? The rest of the people, stay home... Metro Detroit hasn't gotten that much snow this year.. Enjoy
if the north pole shifted to the left then it does explain why the snow; (the north pole has already shifted to the left) if you face the Americas on a round globe and tilt it to the left you will see that Florida moves to the north.

IT’S SNOWING IN FLORIDA 😅 THIS IS WILD!!!!!!
Snowing in the winter. Get used to weather changes!
It used to snow in Central Florida most years back in the 1990s, but not enough to stick for more than a minute or two.

I read that last time it snowed like that in Louisiana was 1895 over a foot of snow.

Snow days are so much fun, and Florida finally got the chance to experience one ☃️🌨❄️
(10) day forecast puts us back in the 70's by the weekend ☀️🤗
Snow isn’t scary! It’s beautiful. That’s why I still live in the north land.
They call it a rare storm, really it's a used to be rare storm. The future is now.
I love seeing the kids having fun playing in it, kinda sad that they can't make a snowman but they can make angel's in the snow 😊❄️😊
At least it'll be back in the 70s in FL next week.
Looks like the storms are now chasing the chasers

our high today is 35 in South carolina. that is nearly 20 degrees below normal. if it weren't for glow bull warming it'd be -10.
