I was working an estate sale in Michigan. A couple was buying a bunch of stuff. I chatted with them and said “oh we watch the crazy lamp lady” so we are looking for…. I was LMAO.
Sporadically I watch you (because you know how busy retirement can be) and thank you for finding the green bowl just like my grandma's. I gave all my pieces to my aunt, so she would have the entire collection. I love thrifting with you ! Nanna Wanda, the Fire King Queen
Thank you Jocelyn, I watch daily. Don't forget to like and share everyone! (I have to remind myself)
I think because people can watch RUclips on the TV. They sometimes don't have the option to like and share in that setting. I will go back and click it on my tablet. I hate that on the TV setting.
Thank you to our beautiful crazy Lamp Lady
I love how you buy things because they make you happy! I do that a lot!
Just started to watch . Your a thrifty shopper, I like that , since my hubby doesn't like brick- brack I can't bye what I'd like to , so I watch you
Since I started watching you when I go to the Goodwill or any other thrift store I turn everything over to see the markings. I did buy some Limoge plates, not for the value, just because I like them. I watch you mostly at night, you have a wonderful soothing voice.
7:57 That mark is Mount Clemens Pottery Company. Run a comp. I think it may be worth something!
Wow, the way the merchandise is packed in the bins-it’s surprising any of the glassware survives!
That kitty cat bowl made me happy, too, Jocelyn! I’m so glad you grabbed it 😉
timestamp 15:38--Fitz & Floyd box on the right! As you're talking about F & F...LOL Wonder what that is...an ornament maybe.
funny maybe it was valuable.
Oh my gosh, that's too funny! You picked up my aqua colored oblong bowl I donated to the Lemoyne Goodwill!
😆
I think that was a better piece than you gave it credit for; it was Mount Clemens.
@@jmcosmos it was a single piece in my cupboards and just didn't match anything else. So I donated it. Yes, I see that now that I look up Mount Clemens. Looks like it's called petal ware from the 1930's. My grandma is probably turning over in her grave right now. Oops 😬
@@clseibel88 Embarrass thyself not; we've all done it, one time and another. I know I have.
I shop there 😊
The lizard is a gecko, a symbol of good fortune.
8:03 lol its McCoy
I hope everybody saw the pictures of her new home that Jocelyn posted on facebook! What a neat looking house. Congratulations! Now you know we'll want more details, like when was it built, and so on. Surprisingly, the house isn't a 1970s pre-fab. Kidding of course!
Black glass Greek key vase was missing a flower frog top. It came in a shorter fatter version with a frog as well.
I've seen you comment a few times on Jocelyn's videos & I always do a double take when I see your name because my mom's name was Marilyn Mack:). Anyway, just wanted to share, I don't see the name very often. Take care .....
Love the patriotic pottery pieces! Great for the 4th! Actually I love all of the pottery:). Thank you for sharing 😘
Still like the cats meow houses if $1.00 or less, but only local and places I've been. So fun shopping along with u. Have a great week!
I know the corn 🌽 piece could be a hobbiest one. I did a whole set of them when I was doing ceramics in the 70’s. There were a whole suite of pieces. From a lidded tourine , to salt and peppers, to covered butter, to plates, you name it.
Your house looks amazing!! Great size too for your growing family. I wish you all the joy & happiness that your big heart can handle!!!
Melinda, how did you see the new house?
I saw it on her Instagram feed. It's gorgeous!
@@JBryan-sx8qs Thank you!
Your videos are always interesting thnx
People buy all Holiday stuff year round. You have to buy it when you see it.
I just found your channel a couple of days ago and have binge watching ever since. Love what you do and how calm you are.
I like the Chinese floral vase at the beginning. I get it. J.s.
Shelves were loaded today. Nice haul, love the turtles 🐢!
The turtles are great 👍
Hi Jocelyn you are amazing LOVE watching your channel 💜💜💜💜
love the shell craft pictures. I'm pretty sure they are punch needle craft. Punch needle craft was popular in the 90's.
I love the Indian metallic vase. It’s just stunning. I would buy it in a beat. ☺️
Love the shell pictures
Love the chipped pottery mirror. I would have found a way to touch it up. Gorgeous piece~
I’ve learned so much from you!
Omg that cat bowl is fantastic!!!
Those turtle s&p are so darn cute as is that glass elephant!!!
So many great things. I just love seeing your daily shops
Westmoreland on the greenware. I found some in my Goodwill too. ☺️
18:16 My heart lept for a sec lol, as I thought maybe that was a Livio Seguso Elephant! I found a Livio Seguso sitting Smokey glass bear at a Yard Sale the other day for $1!!! I was researching him when I got home and noticed the Signature as I was cleaning him!! I looked at all his Zoo he designed for Garlsglas Germany and the Elephant looks close to that, but smokey glass and designed different and of course clear bottomed. Great Ellie though. Love the colors!
I am glad you are getting the cat bowl.
I think that black glass vase is LE Smith
My favorite is one you dig through the bins. Get it girl!!!!
The shell art pieces will be perfect in a mermaid themed bathroom
How funny, I bought a pottery spoon rest today for 1.99 and came back home and watched this video to see you doing the same 😂
Mikasa intaglio is a very collected pattern. Sometimes very pricey.
I also thought that. I screamed to Jocelyn through the screen Take it! 😄
I collect it for my Mother in law. Certain pieces worth a heck of alot.
Me too! I was like- she kept the ugly shell pictures and left the Intaglio?!?
I can’t believe the value of the 1980’s peach coloured sea shell art work! Oh my lol!
Jocelyn I hope you can find someone who can help list for you soon. It must be difficult doing it yourself with everything else going on...
I agree..would think she has enough stuff..to hold her up till at less 6 months after baby's birth..
Darn! That glass piggie was neat. Love the Big Hug Mug,blue little glass,The India round vase,Duck rock, cat bowl, glass elephant😍😍😍,and the milk glass.
I grew up with the Esperanto dinnerware at 13:50!
Those Santa’s are still there 😂. Love your videos, Jocelyn-congrats on your new home!
Jocelyn, thanks so much for continuing your hard work to send us your videos. We appreciate you and your craft! ❤️👍🏼
As always. ,nice finds. Glad you can find some decent stuff. Thanks for keeping us company from sleepless in Indiana
The shell art is hand made with a thread punch.
That's what I think; used to be a popular craft thing. They are very pretty.
8:09 Those green bowls are Mt Clemens "Petalware" Green Bowls in the Toulon Pattern
The hobnail glass can still be found at TJ maxx now!
High hopes! Blessed and safe days!
I'm so shocked (pleasantly) on the condition of the Goodwill's in your area. Ours (northern California) are atrocious! They are such a mess that I'm easily overwhelmed just trying to look for a small gem in the pile of crap on each shelf. I need to take a road trip! Thanks for your videos!
I wish you would show more videos of your purchase price and your sell price. It is fun to see and very satisfying.😉😋
I am so jealous of your Goodwills!! I’ve been watching you for a month now and I was so excited to go to my local goodwill to see what they had! There was nothing but rows and rows of clothes and broken plates. :(
Penny, my Goodwills are the same as yours!
Goodwills here in eastern Mass are also lame :(
I'm in California and ours are very lackluster in comparison..I am always hoping to find one like the ones she goes to..but nope.not yet
Goodwill in Southern Maine are lame as well. And if there is anything good, the store takes them and marks them up like $30.00 and puts a special sticker on them that says, "Hand Picked." 🤨
I wish our good wills had treasures are just have junk seriously
You passed a Fitz and Floyd in the Christmas section at 15:49. It was to the right of what you put back on the shelf.
Correction 15:39
There was a Santa Fritz and Floyd to the right of you in the box.
Time stamp 15:25 good catch!
The seashells were punch embroidery.
The oster osterizer vintage blender like you moved out of your way in the cart can be worth a lot.
Those shell framed items are needle punch.
Your the best ☺️ thanks
I want that cat bowl.
Love old houses very similar to my favorite they keep taking off the market.I just wanted to thank you for all the good videos you put out .I really enjoy them wondering why you don't go to salvation army that much I find my best things there and not as expensive.
I just love watching your channel! I’ve learned so much from you, thank you!
I can’t believe I let go of my Big Hug Mug that I sold in a yard sale!😩
I feel kinda bad that hobbiest pieces aren’t valued as much as some mass produced stuff from China. Hand made with personal care by Americans. I get it. They are inconsistent and you have to be able to make some $.
Agreed.
Why not hobbyist pieces other than American?
@@carltonthepug sure! I’m up for that.
Americana poss..
The Bath and Body Works is CLOSED? You know it is dead if they couldn't stay open. The BABW in our dead mall is somehow always packed! (Courtland Center, Flint Michigan if you need a road trip! We also have the Genesee Valley Mall which is not only dead but has hot mesa management).
Great Finds Jocelyn as always !!
Love the turtles and cat bowls😻🐢🐢
7:35 that's a flower frog so you were right, you do put flowers in there LOL - they sit inside vases to keep things sculptural. Dunno how old it is but I don't think they were commonly made after the 60s? It's also the biggest one I've ever seen!
Am I the only person who really likes one of a kind glasses and candlesticks? I never buy pairs.
Jocelyn,you did get good stuff!
Hi Jocelyn… I’m the first ….wow. Salt cellar? Great haul… fun to learn from you!
That cat bowl is from Daiso; I had one for my cat until last week when it got broken. 😠 Bummed me out when it broke!
I have the almost same cat bowl! I got mine in Epcot 😊
2:51, comps are selling for about 15 to $20 without lid and with a chip on the bottom. At $2.99 there was a little bit of money to be made.
Another great video😃
Your new house looks really amazing. Love the red colour😊
Where is the video of the new house?
Her Instagram feed.
@@JBryan-sx8qs Thank you.
@@JBryan-sx8qs I just looked and there’s nothing on her Instagram. Are you sure it was there?
@@Martina1192 I’ll see if I can find it and send you the link.
I have that fat cat bowl pattern in a plate for my coco cat
I believe I've seen that blue cat bowl at Daiso
We used to have one of those salt things and they called a salt cellar. Don’t ask me why!
You finally find a bernese mountain dog and his ear is missing. Poor baby. I'm a berner mommy.
Love your videos
Hello. Let's go shopping.
Thanks 😊
The captions had you calling yourself "crazy white lady" at the intro, seriously.
I could be wrong but I don't believe I've ever seen a video about your Goodwill cells what you should have left on the shelf and what so beautifully?
@crazylamplady if you need help finding out what glass piece you have is what do you recommend on doing? I’ve got a couple I can’t find a marking
It's so funny when I see something on your videos and I'm talking to myself...I have that...the MIL has that ...owww...go back
How much do you typically list, per day? It's fun to hunt, but the listing isn't.
It's nice that your Goodwill lets you go through the carts. My Goodwill and other thrift store get pretty upset if people do that. Love the shell pictures!
I’ve learned that every Goodwill is different with this policy.
Mine too..don't understand y..gives them less work
I'm in Omaha and ours let you go thru them.
That may have been a Mackenzie Childs b&w checkered plate/platter @1:13.
I have the very same cat dish to put on ebay. I also cannot read the mark on the bottom.
What app do you use checking what stuff is worth and searching stuff help
02:57 "Salt box" is the common name, that one is (yes) missing its lid, and it has a HUUUUUUUUGE chip out of the bottom rim. Fun. Sponged.
04:12 The little man who lives right above my navel and gives me gut feelings says they're mass-produced.
05:51 At four bucks a bag, you have a lot of room. I'm seeing six to nine pieces per bag, which works out to about fifty cents a pop.
06:13 "A pig like that, you don't eat him all at once!" 😆
06:25 I think I see a Masonic voting box on the shelf below. They use white and black marbles to vote on whether new members should be entered into the craft. (It's a very literal application of being "blackballed.")
07:41 I dunno, but it's triggering the hell out of my trypophobia.
07:59 Mount Clemens Pottery, in Mount Clemens, Michigan. That's probably from the years when they belonged to S. S. Kresge Co., 1920 to 1965. You should get reasonable prices for them.
09:15 He looks like an elderly fisherman, with his teeth bared in a grimace. I do not think he is a Nice Man.
10:35 DANGER, JOCELYN ELIZABETH! DANGER! It's *Indian brass!*
12:17 Not only is the stitching good quality, the matting and framing job is sick.
13:51 That's a Mikasa pattern: Panorama by Ceramic Guild Esperanto.
16:47 It says "squiggle." 😁
At 15:36 time; Christmas Fitz and Floyd bottom right
Yup the tumbling Santa’s I think! They do well!
While talking about Fitz and Floyd, you passed up a box from Fitz and Floyd with Christmas salt and pepper shakers 😱
80s Beach house decor
Can you tell me how you hold/carry your phone and record without others seeing you? It has to be awkward. Thank you. I enjoy your videos and watch often.
You missed the Christmas Spode Jocelyn! Bummer
My guess is that the shells are punch work. A fun technique but it makes a very tight fuzzy project.
❤TFS!
